ACCESSIBILITYPUBLIC TRANSITPillsworth Road is accessible from all areas of the Greater Toronto Area due to its close proximity to major highways and thoroughfares. The property is also conveniently accessible by GO Transit as a GO Bus Terminal is located at Highway 50 and Mayfield Road.
The government of Ontario plans to construct a 6 kilometre Highway 427 extension through Vaughan’s Enterprise Zone (VEZ) from Zenway Boulevard up to Major Mackenzie with three proposed new interchanges. This extension will only increase the accessibility at Highway 50 and Mayfield Road.

HIGHWAY 50 & MAYFIELD ROAD
VAUGHANENTERPRISE ZONEGATEWAY TO THE GREATER TORONTO ECONOMIC REGION
Economic growth and prosperity
occurs irrespective of municipal
boundaries. Connectivity, be it
through hard infrastructure or
through online channels, will
transform our communities.
The Vaughan Enterprise Zone
is poised to deliver on all these
fronts:
The City of Vaughan has one of the
largest supplies of vacant employment
lands in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), 1,330 hectares are still undeveloped.
The Vaughan Enterprise Zone (VEZ), located in the western quadrant of the City, bordering Brampton, Toronto and Caledon, encompasses an area more than 1,120 hectares (2,767 acres).
Many of VEZ’s sites are large and contiguous parcels suitable for head offices, national logistics and distribution centres, and manufacturing operations.
CP Rail’s largest intermodal terminal on-site with handling capacity of more than 600,000 containers annually, offers direct non-stop connections to the Port of Vancouver.
Lester B. Pearson International Airport, Canada’s busiest passenger and cargo airport, is located within 10 minutes of the VEZ.
Direct highway connections to the Highway 401 trade corridors through Highways 407 and 427.
Planned 6 km extension of Highway 427 - environmental assessment has received provincial approvals.
VEZ’s modern infrastructure is sized to meet future business demands: electrical distribution systems, telecommunications, water, sewer and wastewater systems.
Development opportunities for 48 million SF of industrial space.
Employment potential: 46,000 jobs at full build-out.
