this unique opportunityto beequipped ato learn alongside thirteen other chuplanters from different cities in Asia aAustralia was truly a providential blessfromtheLord.TheIntensivelastedforalmoan entire month and was conductedseveral seasoned church planters, pastoeducators, and marketplace leaders w

s h a r e d a wealth of wisdom and knowledge from thown experiences of planting churches and doing ministryd i ff e r e n t c i t y contexts. With forty-three different classroosessions,eightchurchvisits,twelve church case studies and debriefs, numerosermons and project presentations, equally numerous post-eval uati ons, the parti c ipants wechallengedtothinkthroughthedeepimplicationsofarobustgospeltheologyuponthetaskofchurchplantiwhilsttravellingalmostonaweeklybasisfromHongKongtoTaipeitoSingaporetoMalaysia.Finallylast24Judisarmed of erroneous assumptions about church planting and with a renewed and clarified vision for chu

planting in Katipunan, James returned to Manila. ByHisgrace, theLord hasbrought His servant tomanyrealizationsandnew learning.Jamesisgratefulforallyourprayersforhistraining.HeisnowintheprocessofwritinganactionplanforthenextphaseofPilgrimCommunityskingdomprogress.

Learning to Rely on GodPrior to leaving for the Intensive, both James and Keren were quiteapprehensiveabouthispotentialfour-weekabsencefromtheministry.They were anxious that theLords ministry might be hindered by his

temporarydeparture. This of course

wasafoolish thing tothink.AstheministryistheLords,o does He order and preserve it according to His

wisdom.WehaveseenthisinthepastmonthastheLordontinued to sustaintheministry.ByHisgrace, aformereminaryclassmateof James cameover andhelped out

with the weekly Wednesday night Prayer Meetings. As

well,KerenhasbeenmeetingregularlywithfivedifferentibleStudygroupswithladiesthroughouttheweek.Weow have weekly Bible studies from Tuesdays throughaturdaysand wethankGod for thejoy ofseeingtheseoung lives touched with thegospelof JesusChrist. WehankGodforgentlyremindingusbyHisprovidencethateisin controland that theministry that wedo isHis

months,theLordhasl l o w e d u s t h epportunity to hostwo major informalvents, which haven a b l e d u s t oractice gospel shaped generosity.he first event was an Independence Day dinnerathering where we hosted close to twentyADMUtudentsat ourhome fora simpletimeoffellowshipnd mealsharing. Apart from the food, we also hadhechancetoprayblessthesestudentsbyprayingforhem.Theothereventwasafilmviewingthatwehadtthefunction roomofa dormitorycloseby. Itwasareattimeofmovieandmeriendaaswewatchedaboutne godly mans (William Wilberforce) fight for the

abolitionofslaveryin thefiAmazing Grace. AfterwaJames shared a short gostalkfromthesecondchapteEphesians. Aside from th

two events, we also havejoyofhavingstudentsjoinustimes of impromptu meals afellowship. We thank the Lfor His infinite generositygivi ng His Son Jesus as

substitute for morally bankrupt sinners like us.countitaprivilegetobeabletoloveliketheSonandbegenerouswiththeblessingswereceivefromHim

Prayer Points James is currently in the process of drafting
