OUGAN is specialized in the design and manufacture of Bi-directional static loading test (BDSL) equipment.
Starting in the year 2005, we have tested more than two thousand piles with our own patented super cells. We provide complete service including super cell manufacture, cell installation, field data collection & analysis, and test report preparation.
Ougan first Joint-Venture was established in Singapore in year 2014 to provide bi-directional static load test service in Southeast Asia. Also in 2014, Ougan have formed business partnership with DuSense LLC Dubai to offer BDSL services to the Middle East market.

Unlike conventional cells which are a combination of hydraulic (jacks)
cylinders, OUGAN Super-cells consist of one or multiple inflatable load
cells (Super-Cells) that produce large load. The patented Super-Cells adopt
special sealing technology, and are made with large loading area, low
original height, light weight, and excellent loading performance. Due to the
large loading area, no high pressure is needed to produce high load. Usually,
the max hydraulic pressure to do bi-directional loading test with super-cells
is lower than 30Mpa. This dramatically reduces the risk of hydraulic failure.
The Super-cells may be built in various shapes, depending on pile diameters
and test purposes.

Each super-cell is tested and calibrated before assembly. The loading
pressure is determined by calibration result on linear relation between pressure
and load.
Calibration process
Telltale rods are used to measure displacement. Tied at suitable position
through the reinforcement cage, the telltale transfers the displacement all the
way to the sensor on ground level. A measurement sensor with magnetic base
is set up to record the displacement.

Lalin project
Twenty-one sets of Super Cells have been selected to perform bi-directional
load static test in 12 sections of Lalin Railway, to link Lhasa with Nyingchi
City. This project kicked off in June 2015 and will become the third operational
railway in Tibet. Due to extremely complicated terrains and high altitude up to
3500m (11,500ft), this railway is widely considered as a milestone and miracle
in the world’s railway construction history. The tested piles are as follows:
