Using yellow, cast on 3 stitches.

Stockinette stitch Rows 1-4.

BO all stitches. Sew to fourth piece.

Piece 6

Using yellow, cast on 5 stitches

Stockinette stitch rows 1-8.

BO all stitches. Sew piece to fifth piece.

Piece 7

Using yellow, cast on 7 stitches.

Stockinette stitch rows 1-12.

BO all stitches. Sew piece to sixth piece.

Cheek Pouches (Make 2)

Using red, cast on 3 stitches. Pieces are knit flat.Even rows 2-4 purl.

Row 3. Knit

Row 5. K2tog, K1, K2tog (3 sts)

Break yarn and draw it tightly through the remaining stitches with a tapestry needle,

leaving a long tail for sewing.

*Create eyes with black yarn, (4 stitches tall and 3 stitches wide).

*Create nose with size 3 black yarn, (2 stiches).

*Embroider mouth with finger-weight yarn in brown.

Ears (Make 2)

Using yellow, cast on 6 stitches and join in the round.

Rnd 1-9. Knit

Switch to black

Rnd 10. Knit

Rnd 11. K2tog, K4 (5 sts)

Rnd 12. Knit

Rnd 13. K2tog, K3 (4 sts)

Break yarn and draw it tightly through the remaining stitches using a tapestry needle.

DO NOT STUFF!

Brown Stripes On Back (Make 2)

Using brown, cast on 1 stitch. Pieces are knit flat.

Row 1. KFB (2 sts)

Row 2-26. Stockinette stitch beginning with a purl.

Row 27. K2tog (1 sts)

Break yarn and draw it through the remaining stitch using a tapestry needle. Leave a

long tail for sewing.

Arms (Make 2)

Using yellow, cast on 12 stitches and join in the round.

Rnd 1-10. Knit

Rnd 11. [K2tog]6x (6 sts)

Rnd 12. K1, break yarn and draw it tightly through the stitch that you just knit. Reattach

yarn to the next stitch and K1. Break yarn again and draw both ends of the yarn piece

you have through the stitch that you just knit. Do this until you get to the last 2 stitches.

Knit the last 2 stitches together then break yarn and draw it through the remaining

stitch. Thus, the fingers are made! Weave in remaining tails. DO NOT STUFF!

Feet (Make 2)

Using yellow cast on 6 stitches and join in the round.

Rnd 1-2. Knit

Rnd 3. KFB, K4, KFB (8 sts)

Rnd 4-9. Knit

Break yarn and draw it through the remaining stitches using a tapestry needle. Leave a

long tail for sewing feet to the body later. Embroider 2 lines onto the smaller end with

brown yarn (finger-weight if you have it). DO NOT STUFF!

Finishing

Sew on feet on either side of the cast on section of the body. Sew on any pieces that need

attaches and weave in any loose ends. Enjoy!
