TURTLEPIG-NOSED

Start with your paper white side up. Fold in half, open out and turn over.

Fold both top corners to the inner crease you just made, with the turtle’s nose facing down.

Turn the page over.

Take the left side of the model and fold it into the centre crease.

Do the same with the right side.

Fold the bottom corners inside the model.

Take the top point and fold down to the middle of the model.

Take the top flap of the fold you just completed and fold it back up slightly past the top of the model.

Take the bottom two corners and fold to the middle crease.

Fold these flaps back onto themselves as shown.

Fold the top two corners in toward each other as shown.

Turn the model over and your turtle is finished!

The pig-nosed turtle is found in freshwater rivers, billabongs, swamps and lagoons of the Northern Territory of Australia and also in New Guinea.
