All present voted in favor Kaycee Lindsey, JDA Director, submitted a letter for support for the 5 year zone extension for the Crosby Renaissance Zone. Motion was made by Commissioner Brady, seconded by Commissioner Selle. All present voted in favor. Lauren Throntveit, Janitor, met with the board with a contract from H.A. Thompson & Sons, Bismarck ND. The contract is for $5780.00 per year and it would include 2 visits twice a year to change filters, which are included in the price & other maintenance on the air conditioning system. The Contract would start July 1, 2020. Commissioner Selle made a motion to enter into this contract, Commissioner Brady seconded. All present voted in favor. Bryan Haugenoe, Road Foreman, met with the board to discuss different trucks and board authorized travel to Williston to assess them. Mr. Haugenoe informed the board that he has one week of dura patching work left on County Road 3. Board discussed changing the speed limits for trucks increasing it to 55 mph on paved county roads the same as cars. Mr. Haugenoe informed the board that dust control is half completed. Kassie Rose, Tax Director, Sa- brina Ferguson and Alexa Kruger, Crosby City Representatives joined the meeting. Ms. Rose presented the following abatements: Crosby Housing Authority Aud Lot 85 and Hingstville Pt of NW1/4NW1/4 Aud Lot 86 qualifies for property exemp- tion according to NDCC 23-11-29 and AGO 81-60 therefore reducing taxable from 24415 to 0 or $4739.68 to $0 for 2017 and 18260 to 0 or $3876.23 to $.00 for 2018 on Aud Lot 85 and 23680 to 0 or $4597.00 to 0 for 2017 and 16050 to 0 or $3407.09 to 0 for 2018 and to deny the 2016 abatements for these properties. Ms. Ferguson & Ms. Kruger informed the board the Crosby City will be taking over 5th Ave. Townshomes. They are exempt for 2020. Motion was made by Commissioner Brady, seconded by Commissioner Selle, to approve this abatement per the recommendation of the tax director. All present voted in favor. A conference call was place to Vern Haugen to discuss his mobile homes values. After discussion Mr. Haugen agreed with Ms. Rose values. He may file abatements. Kassie Rose, Tax director informed the board that a parcel in Fortuna City had a questionable value with no documentation provided by Ms. Kippen, Fortuna City Assessor. Assessments remain open until their next June 22 meeting.
