Transcript of Picnic Letter to Members FINAL 2015-04-28
NANKA YAMAGUCHI KENJINKAI
Dear Members,
We hope this letter finds you in the best of health and that you will be able to join us at our annual Nanka
Yamaguchi Kenjinkai (NYK) picnic. Due to renovations, the Leo Politi Picnic Grounds is not available
this year. Therefore, GEORGE ELDER PARK IN MONTEREY PARK will be our venue for the June 14,
2015 picnic. The details of this year’s picnic are as follows:
DATE: SUNDAY, JUNE 14, 2015
TIME: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
NOTE: Though the official start time of the picnic is 11:00, we would encourage
those who can to please come early and help us secure tables and grassy areas
in the vicinity of the gazebo.
LOCATION: GEORGE ELDER PARK, 1950 Wilcox Ave, Monterey Park
NOTE: There are not many picnic tables available, so you may want to bring your
own. Gozas and/or blankets and tent canopies are welcome, but please note that the
park does not allow stakes in the ground.

With some of our members living close to one another, we
are trying to connect those who need a ride to the picnic
