Pickleball CourtNot exactly like tennis, Pickleball
has some strange rules, but it’s easy to learn and SOOO much fun! Pickleball Rules!!

Pickleball Court Size
A pickleball court is about 1/4 the size of a tennis court.
If you picture cutting a tennis court in half along the net, and then cutting that half in half again, a pickleball court is about the size of the deuce court in tennis.

Exact Dimensions of a Pickleball Court
The exact dimensions of a pickleball court are 20' wide by 44' long.
Like a tennis court, it is divided in half lengthwise into the "even" court (in tennis, the deuce court) and the "odd" court (the ad court in tennis). UNLIKE a tennis court, a pickleball court has a line running parallel to the net, 7' from the net. The area between these two lines defines the "no-volley zone," affectionately called "the kitchen."

Pickleball Court Layout

Make Your Own Pickleball Court
To make your own temporary pickleball court, you can use masking tape (or chalk) to outline one court centered on a tennis court (using the tennis net) or, if you have portable nets, you can actually fit 4 pickleball courts onto a single tennis court. Of course, you can also set up a court in a driveway, parking lot or in a gymnasium.

Tennis Conversion to Pickleball Courts
The USAPA has a good page that explains how to do a tennis court conversion to pickleball courts.
