VERCO M-SealFeatures & Benefits

M-Seals™ are designed to be a bi-directional low and high pressure seal. Because of the unique unitloading, they are a very positive, no drift seal. This type of seal design will not withstand a great amountof side loading. To increase the life of the seal dramatically, Verco “Cool Blue” Wear Rings shouldbe used in conjunction with a M-Seal™. This will insure centering and compensate for any side loadingor misalignment. “Cool Blue” Wear Rings can increase seal life as much as 10 times!

◆ UNIQUE SEAL GEOMETRY: The geometry of the M-Seal allows a fluid reservoir between thetwo points of the M (in between the two separate sealing surfaces). This provides extra lubricationfor reduced breakaway and running friction. The square or rectangular load ring providepositive, no drift sealing in many cylinder applications.

◆ RESISTS SPIRAL FAILURE: M-Seals are generally rectangular in cross section providingimproved stability to resist cocking, twisting, sticking, and rolling.

◆ EASY TO INSTALL: Because of the unique 2 piece design M-Seals are a SNAP to install. Nomore resizing as is the case with many other types of seals.

◆ FLUID PRESSURE RANGE: VERCO M-Seals are rated to withstand pressure up to 5800 psi atrecommended groove dimensions and tolerances.

Series 1716: This seal was designed to be a replacement and upgrade for either an O-ring andtwo back-ups or a U-cup. Unlike the others, this seal is much wider to give maximum resistance tospiral failure. The unique design of series 1716 makes this a quiet operating seal with less runningfriction, and much easier to install. Series 1716 will directly interchange with Grover Series 12 seals.
