Overview
• The class will divide into teams of 3-4 students each• Each team will decide on a team name and 3 substances• Teams will then be paired off• One team will get 20 questions to figure out what substance the other
has chosen• For each correct answer, the team will get one point• The teams will then switch • This will continue until each of the 3 substances have been attempted
for each team
Substances
• Substances cannot be complex• Examples include: gold, sand, nylon, plastic, cement, etc• You must look up a picture for each substance that you choose
• You must have that picture on your screen when the other team is trying to guess• When they have finished their 20th question and/or have tried to solve
the question, show them their screen
• Teams will be divided by the teacher into brackets• The team in a bracket with the most points will advance to the next
round• In case of a tie, the teacher will pick a substance and each team will have 5
questions each
• Rounds will continue until a champion team is decided• Note: Participation points will not be awarded to students in a group
who does not ask questions (should be between 5 and 7 questions each)
