Perypezye Urbane and C.R.E.A. Media Foundation invite you to the Physical Cinema In-service training with Lutz Gregor 6-12 May 2012 Milan, Italy The main objective is to provide dancers, videomakers, art teachers and educators with new technical and artistic insights, in order to improve their knowledge and skills in connection with the use of videocamera. We will both address the importance of the creative expression of ideas, experiences and emotions in a range of media (video, movement, performing arts) and the development of a confident and critical use of new basic video techniques, in connection with the so called physical cinema, developed by the film maker Lutz Gregor. The approach of the physical cinema will be carried on together with a critical approach to the analysis of videos and artistic tendencies in nowadays video production. Through the physical cinema approach, learners will discover how the external and the internal dimension of the learning process can communicate with each other and how an artistic approach can be enriched by technical skills, which will be really easy to approach and learn. The workshop is organized within the framework of Grundtvig Programme, in- service training, and it is possible to apply for a grant: course’s fee, travel and accommodation will be completely covered! For a full description of the workshop and for instructions on how to apply for the grant, follow this link: http://www.perypezyeurbane.org/?page_id=391 For any other query, please don’t hesitate: [email protected] Deadline for Grundtvig application: 16/01/2012
