Where?

In terms of the particular location in which where I’d shoot my different photos of different people with different props and purposes of the magazine such as modeling for the contents page, front cover and DPS, some of the location/areas are as follow:

Music Studio - (within the sixth form centre based over at the St Bon’s site OR in public music studios)

Housing Estates (‘The Blocks/The Hood’) – to give a typical stereotype of gang relations or underground music of hip-hop/rap artist to illustrate past lifestyle experiences/story telling of the area in which they grew up in

School (Old) – as mentioned in a music studio in either sites of the sixth form centre or in school rooms such as the drama studio/music studio with a plain white background to replicate a studio effect.

What?

The photos in which would be taken for my music magazine would consist of many different typical props in which is displayed within hip-hop music videos and the artist itself. Some of these props are as follow:

Jewellery - (Gold/Silver Plated Heavy Watches & Chains)

Music Microphone’s – typical piece of music equipment to verbally speak through

Amps – sound system

Hats (Snapbacks, New Era, Beanie’s) – artist preferences, taste in style, trends

Money – illustration of fame and wealth from career

How?

The type of camera in which I would be using for my photo shoot would be a DSLR Nikon D3100 model. The reason for this is because the quality and resolution of the picture quality would be beneficial and clear.

Another piece of equipment that would be use to take photographs with is a tripod so that the shot that was taken is clear and not blurred, also to keep the camera steady.

Photoshop would also be used in order to edit photos once they have been edited, also for the manipulation of the photo to fit the purpose of my magazine.
