Elliott ErwittBorn in Paris in 1928, spent young years in Italy, then
moved to the United States. One of the most prominent photographers of our time,
photographing everyone from everyday people to JFK and
Marilyn Monroe.
A photography purist, Erwitt has made his ideas about the profession known, and
his distaste for digital manipulation in photographs.

Words of Elliott Erwitt
"Digital manipulation kills photography, it is enemy number one"
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place...I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
With companies like Creative Commons, Flickr, Photoshop, Picnik and many more aiding and distributing photography, media is becoming an integral
part of the business.
