Celebrate in style in our of our six elegant reception rooms. Whether your preference is for a formal banquet or casual barbeque we can ensure that you achieve exactly the ambience you require.
Our light and airy Ballroom with it’s original ornate plasterwork ceiling, grand fireplace and full height windows provides a stunning backdrop for formal dining. It can comfortably seat up to 100 guests and has a semi-circular top table to complement the graceful curve of the bay window.
The Drawing Room with it’s views over the rear gardens provides a lovely setting for more informal buffets.
The terrace with it’s formal knot garden and adjacent lawns are the perfect spot for a lazy, laid back barbeque, hog roast or vintage style afternoon tea.

Our experienced chefs can provide a range of menus to tempt every taste-bud. We focus on classic British cuisine with a contemporary twist, using locally sourced, fresh produce wherever possible. We have an extensive wine list selected from around the world for your enjoyment. Alternatively, you may provide your own wines and champagnes with no corkage charge. Our bar is comprehensively stocked with a wide range of drinks and we can create reception drinks and cocktails especially tailored for you.

Somerford Hall can accommodate up to sixty guests in a number of different rooms ranging from the grand four-poster suites in the main house to our cosy cottages.
All rooms are tastefully furnished and fully equipped to provide a relaxing retreat for your guests.
Our sumptuous Bridal Suite is the perfect romantic haven to retire to at the end of your special day. It has a mahogany four-poster bed, separate dressing room and luxury bathroom with free-standing bathtub and walk-in shower.
