costumes and hand made masks the sound of cow bells that hang around the waist as they dance their routine to music. The weekend is full of portrait and documentary

Black Sea coast is one of Europe,s richest bird location annually hundreds of thousands of birds migrate along the Via Pontica is a major migration route between Europe and

Asia and passes along Bulgarians coast. Around 420 species of birds have been recorded during migration season including Long-legged Buzzard, Levant Sparrowhawk, Pygmy

Cormorant, Rock Partridge, Semi-collared Flycatcher, Masked Shrike, Olive-tree Warbler and Sombre Tit . Black Stork, White Storks, Cranes and lots more to see and photograph. Early starts we will allow us to enjoy our visit to the Burgas wetlands to

watch wildlife wake. An early drive around the Vaya lake to meet our boat guide for an enjoy a boat ride watch and photograph up-close birds of the wetlands and visiting

migration birds.

Portrait workshop is held in a beautiful period village of Zheranva

Documentary Portrait workshop is held in a beautiful period village of Zheranva at the foot of the Blue Mountains with its stunning views. The village streets are full of

wooden house, museums, church and cafe bars offer great photographic opportunities and the village is surrounded by a mountain range, landscape and dramatic views.

This makes it a perfect base for three of the seven day work shop We will be holding portrait classes and documentary classes with modals in traditional

Bulgarian dress, so you can learn to perfect your people shots in a controlled environment.

Local cafes and bars provide ample photo journalistic opportunities.

Our workshops will cover shutter speed, F stops portrait lighting, modal posing The rest of your stay will be in rural village hotels where we will expand on the first

three days teaching.There is little on this workshop we don’t cover and with day trips to other villages, for landscape and documentary work of daily life in rural villages of Bulgaria building a

portfolio of fabulous photographs to take away and benefit from.800 pounds per person based on two people sharing
