Photo Album Photos Run 1917 S-Scraper & His Shadow “Hock Shop” @ East Rd, Hocking Scraper kept to his home ground starting at Hocking Old Shops which are mostly closed down. The Run took off in the direction of new streets & houses and generally kept amongst these where new house size = block size (nearly) urban sprawl all the way. Even Google-Earth imagery still shows we were running amongst vegetable crops - yes, the world’s largest company can’t keep up Perth’s rate of Urban Sprawl !! The Run was hilly +/- 115m vertical collectively, the best bit about this ‘twas mostly up in the 1 st half, mostly down in the 2 nd . There was of course a very welcome diversion to the Scraper home Disco-land for a drink stop, where a Hilux trayback cabin roof box was being revamped in the garage, but Morphine reckoned the disco lights where Scraper entertains who knows what? were the highlight of the run and gave it a creditable 9 outs 10 points. Better photos of Mase reaching 1600 runs last week were taken before the Circle start. Then we had Fire / stand-in song- masters / Barralina jokes / Coops’ birthday feathering / Voodoo in wanker shirt / Hares Act (Scraper supported by Stir) / Chicken meal (leftovers after the feathers were taken off) / and at the end of the week a pleasant Hash Lunch orgied by Wimpy at ANZAC House in the City . All-in-all = Not a bad Hamersley Week!!! Enjoy!
