Photo 1 – left - (June 2011) Facing towards the northwest at the embankment on the south side of the roadway where slumping was observed during the 2010 inspection. The slumping was partially repaired by excavating the slumped material as far downslope as the fenceline and backfilling with pit run backfill. The lower portion of the slump mass downslope of the fenceline line was not repaired. It is recommended that vegetation be established on this slope as soon as possible.

Photo 3 – top - (June 2011) Facing towards the southeast from the north side of the road in the area between the railway and highway embankments (personnel in photo are standing on the roadway). The erosion gully along the northeast ditchline flowing towards the site that was observed in 2010 has been backfilled, and it is understood that the backfilled ditchline was to be lined with non-woven geotextile. Repair work was underway during the inspection. Photo 4 – left - (June 2010) The northeast ditch erosion as of June 2010 for comparison with Photo 3. The compactor in Photo 3 is at this approximate area.
