And this new law says…

Most banks are now required to review all short sale packages for a possible loan modification before completing a short sale.

The reality is that they are modifying only 2% of those who need this!

If you are made a loan modification offer that is acceptable, we will cancel your contract with the buyer to allow you to complete your modification.

The process generally takes between 3 and 12 months, during which time you can stop paying the mortgage while you await the lender approval of the short sale.

Buyers have 10 days to perform any inspections they would like, during which time they can cancel and receive a full refund of their deposit.

This benefits you because by creating an anxiety-free bidding environment, we find buyers will bid up to their most optimistic view of a property instead of their most pessimistic view.
