Jesus the Man
Philippians 2:5-11
Do you know Jesus?• Jesus Christ is our example.
• Is the picture of Jesus we hold out for ourselves and the world an accurate picture?
• The purpose of this lesson is to reexamine the teaching regarding Jesus in order to get a more accurate picture of Jesus the Man.
Look at the Big Picture
• Jesus experienced “the man’s world.”
• Twelve “real men” followed Him.
• Jesus as a “man” was impressive.
• Jesus’ physical experiences were much like a “mountain man.”
• The most “manly” thing about Jesus was his firm resolve to do His Father’s will.
