One Accord

Local ministries have come together to join in one collaborative effort to reach those who are seeking inward peace and answers to life’s questions and disappointments. We are no longer staying within a designated area and working independently; we are reaching into ALL areas, together as a team, and ministering in One Accord. Those of us pictured here met at the station on Saturday, May 7th, filling up Bags of Hope, and bottles of Holy Oil.

Thirty-six bottles of Holy Oil were filled and distributed tothe pastors and ministry leaders so they are equipped toanoint those in need during street evangelism outings.

Hundreds of prayer requests have been received so far from Greater Life Christian Center in West Philadelphia. Every prayer request we receive will be read, anointed with oil, and prayed over by our local pastors.

Day of Prayer · June 9, 2016

We are preparing for the upcomingDay of Prayer that will be held hereat TBN Philadelphia on June 9th.

A report on this powerful day will beincluded in the June 2016 manager’sreport.

Christmas is HERE.I missed it last year.I allowed other things to take away the time that was needed to round up toys for the children who are cared for by some of our inner-city churches. Three of these organizations support little ones through their ministry’s day care and pre-school facilities by providing them with three meals a day, freshly laundered clothing, and other life essentials. Often, these ministries run short on finances and find that at the end of the year they are unable to gift their children with a toy at Christmas.I’ve included photos on the following page that were taken two years ago when we delivered over 200 toys to a church school/day care in southwest Philadelphia. They were overwhelmed at seeing all of the toys gathered in front of them knowing they could select the toy of their choice. For most of the precious babies the toy they picked out that day was the ONLY toy they received during the Christmas holiday. TBN Philadelphia is not missing out this year. Christmas is HERE.

This is our Christmas room. Tables are set up in anticipation ofreceiving toys that will be distributed to three inner-city churchesthat operate day care and pre-school ministries.

Joy in Our Town show host Kelly Waldeyer kicked off our toy collection by donating these brand new toys that are placed under our Christmas tree. Yes…our Christmas tree is UP.

food, clothing, and when needed office

supplies such as packing tape,

permanent markers, and storage

containers.

Media Food Bank Volunteers

Co-director Paul Mickle (photo, right) was delighted to receive 12 heavy duty storage containers (above, right) from TBN Philadelphia. These containers were needed to assist in organizing and storing a variety of perishable foods. We also donated 50 rolls of toilet tissue which is always received with great appreciation.

Manager’s Note…

We are receiving an increase of letters from those incarcerated. Access to TBN programming is available within many of our area prisons. Inmates share with us the importance of our presence while they are behind prison walls as we offer teachings on the everlasting love of Jesus. The following comments are from a few of the letters we received this month.

I am 63-years-old and in a correctional facility. I listen to TBN TV every day and night. I love to hear the Word of God. ~Eugene
