Drug Enter/Edit The Drug Enter/Edit option allows drug information to be entered and fields to be edited for all application packages (Outpatient, IV, Unit Dose, Compounding, Non-VA, etc.,) if the proper security keys are held.

PATIENT INSTRUCTIONS: for glaucoma <Enter> • Choose option from the Medication Instruction File sig codes, or use free text, or a combination of both.

• Providers are now able to edit these default patient instructions when ordering in EHR.

Select SYNONYM: TRUSPOT <Enter> • This synonym field is for the provider when ordering meds via EHR.

• Use trade name for ease of finding drug in EHR.
