GRAD PLANS 2014PARENT NIGHT
+All students will have a Personal Graduation Plan (PGP)What is that? A Personal Grad Plan: Plans courses a student
wants to take over four years in high school.
The PGP: Includes testing records.
The PGP: Documents programs a student may use when struggling in school.
The PGP: Keeps up with the student’s credits earned and credits needed to graduate.
The PGP: Provides a list of the college/career goals after graduation.

Any changes to a students graduation plan can only be made after the student’s 2nd year of high school or end of the sophomore year.

+STEM A student must complete Algebra II, chemistry, and
physics and one of the following:
(1) Earn four or more credits in CTE courses. Final course must be selected from the STEM career cluster.
(2) Five credits in mathematics including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and two additional mathematics courses for which Algebra II is a prerequisite.
(3) Five credits in science by successfully completing Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and two additional science courses.
(4) In addition to Algebra II, Chemistry, and Physics, three additional credits from no more than two of the three areas listed in (1), (2), and (3). (Combination path)
*If you took Algebra I in 8th grade and you take one math every year in high school….
*You will have a STEM Endorsement by having 5 math credits.
