DAY 1HOME KYIVMeals on Board

Take on a city tour to St. Sophia Cathedral and Monastery Complex, a real pearl of the

world architecture. Inside, you will view

the largest frescoes and mosaics collection

in the world. Further on you will move to

St. Andrew’s Church, the Ukrainian

Baroque church designed in 1754 by the

Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. You

will also see The Golden Gates of Kiev that

is a major landmark of the Ancient Kiev and

historic gateway in the ancient city fortress,

Yanukovych, which is a huge and luxury

complex and park. With a guide we will

go inside Honka club house (big wooden

cottage), will visit "Galleon" barge

Today, take on a tour to the Shabo winery at the "Shabo" Wine Culture Center. An

Then we will tour "The Mysteries of the Odessa Catacombs" as Odessa was built on the coquina stones that had been mined out of the ground. That is why the long labyrinths spread under the city. You will visit sellers of the guerrillas’ warriors, who kept fighting the Nazi in the war hinterland. Please, take some warm clothes to the underground tour, since the temperature there is not going higher than 10-12 C.

DAY 6ODESSA

Today, we depart to Odessa, a port city on the Black Sea in southern Ukraine. On the way we visit Strategic Missile ForceMuseum. During the tour we take an underground corridor to the massive doors which lead to a self contained silo-based 12-storey Command Post which could function sealed from the outside world for 45 days. Sit in the Command seat and experience what Soviet officers could feel during the Cold War and being in charge of nine missiles SS-22.

DAY 8NIGHT TRAIN LVIVBreakfast, Lunch, DinnerIn the morning we arrive to Lviv, explore

the city’s historic center of fantastically

eclectic city, which was included in the

UNESCO World Heritage List. You will stroll

down Lviv’s main avenues, squares, narrow

cobbled streets. The city tour starts at the

Opera House, then you will walk down

Svoboda Avenue, which is laid out above

the enclosed underground Poltva River.

You will see the oldest and most gorgeous

churches and cathedrals in the Old Town

including Baroque style Jesuit Cathedral, the Virgin Mary’s Assumption church, the

Armenian Cathedral with 16- 17th century

tombstones.

it is time to transfer to the airport for your

flight home.

Then we will take a train back to Kyiv for

the night.

During the tour we'll visit the most famous of all the defenders of the stronghold of the city, very old and well-preserved, washed by the waters of the estuary and has a beautiful view over the city. Tonight, we will take an overnight train to Lviv, a city in western Ukraine, around 70m from the border with Poland.

As a former Soviet nation with living history, the country underwent two revolutions and a Russian invasion to finally emerge on the map as an independent country in 1991. Despite its checkered past and ongoing tensions, Ukraine is perfectly safe for tourists to visit and explore. Simply avoid the Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk regions, which are closed off to visitors anyway, exercise caution and stay alert – that applies to any country you visit – and you’re good to go.
