“Dennis, we finally got our tonnage tracking program up and running again! We ran the report for haul truck #376, (a Komatsu 930E) with a 320 ton size bed on it that went into service 2-24-2011 (363 days), it has hauled 5.430 million tons in those 363 days and the wear liner at the rear of the bed is showing 3/16” of wear at the tail end of the bed. Projected life of this liner package provided the thru thickness hardness of the plate is the same is roughly two more years of service before replacement will be required. We started out with .750” at the tail and used .625” in the middle and front of the floor. This product is holding up well, it was installed at a purchase price of $ 5227.29 / sheet ($1.71/lb) which gives me a tons hauled cost of $ 0.00096/ton for material only.
