Wire Series

The combination of the Wire Pot and Base creates a beautiful resting place for your plants,

while also offering stands of varying heights to bring visual interest and decoration to both

indoor and outdoor spaces.

Designed by the team at Norm Architects, the Wire Pot and Base were inspired by a Japanese-

style garden. The pieces can be bought separately but are best used together. The geometric

lines of the Base and the gentle curve of the Pot work in harmony to lend a strong aesthetic

to any house or garden greenery. Because of its striking and elevated nature, the Wire Pot

and Base is a great option for plants in commercial spaces, such as restaurants and offices.

Both pieces now come in olive, a colour that is modish while remaining subdued and stylish.

About the Designer

Founded in Copenhagen in 2008 by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn, Norm Architects

specialise in residential architecture, commercial interiors, industrial design, photography

and art direction. Today, the group regularly collaborates with MENU, helping to drive the

evolution of the brand and its product offerings. Norm Architects’ name reflects the group’s

emphasis on the importance of drawing inspiration from norms and traditions within

architecture and design – particularly the Scandinavian design principles of timeless

aesthetics and natural materials, and the modernist values of restraint and refinement.

Guided by these principles, Norm Architects produce design that unites good materials and

craftsmanship, while embodying beauty, traditions, history and, most importantly, timeless

simplicity, where there is nothing more to add or take away.

Production Process

The base is square steel rod which has

been welded together and finished

with a polyester powder coating, for

outdoor use. The marble is milled and

matt polished. The wire pot is deep draw

steel, and polyester powder coating for

outdoor use.
