Driver’s seatCombining the architecture of Peugeot

MPVs and saloons, Expert Tepee’s

driver’s seat provides a particularly

comfortable driving position and

offers superb visibility thanks to its

generous glazed surface area.

Front seat The seats of Expert Tepee have been

designed to guarantee good support,

ensure comfort and lateral stability, and

offer a level of ergonomics adapted

to the transportation of people.

Individual seats come with up to three

adjustments: seat height, seat back

inclination and seat travel. Armrests

for the driver and passenger seats are

available according to versions.

A roof that incorporates lighting and air conditioning The roof of Expert Tepee comes

with six air diffusers on versions

equipped with the additional rear

air conditioning unit, ensuring an

exceptional level of ambient comfort.

Fascia panel. The ergonomic fascia panel has been designed to ensure maximum convenience while driving and features a three dial instrument panel.

Satellite navigation system*The satellite navigation system determines

your position by GPS, calculates your best

route and provides traffic information.You

receive information through the speakers

or on the multifunction colour display.

Overhead storage unit* Located under the roof, above the

front passengers, it can accommodate

documents or small hand luggage.

Front and rear air conditioning* Temperature and air distribution

adjustment at the front and rear* is by

means of a control panel situated on the

fascia panel for front air conditioning and

in the roof trim for rear air conditioning.

Visibility Pack*The visibility pack, available as an option,

includes the automatic rain sensor located

on the front windscreen and automatic

switching on of headlamps.

Car radio and CD changer* The centre console of Expert Tepee

incorporates a mono CD radio with an

RT3 and RD4 compatible CDR and

CDRW 5 CD changer, offering faster

playback and random track selection.

Bluetooth® hands-free kit* This ensures the connection between

your Bluetooth mobile phone and the

car radio, enabling you to view telephone

functions on the colour display and

control menus from the radio control

on the steering wheel.

Rear spaceAccording to levels, the rear

compartment of Expert Tepee offers

a wide choice of finishes and interior

modularity.The seats are removable,

or can be folded into a table or

comprise a bench seat and an “easy

entry” seat.The bench seat is folding

according to levels.

Expert Tepee is available with 5 to 9 seats.

Rear seats

The rear seats, in rows 2 and 3 can

accommodate 3 passengers. On

each row of seats, curved head

restraints ensure safety and comfort

without impeding rear visibility.

In the second row, side armrests*

enhance the comfort of passengers.


Dimensions

A vehicle with the feel of an MPV,

Expert Tepee is available in either

short (4.80 m) or long (5.13 m)

versions.

Rear compartment

In addition to the high-capacity boot,

Expert Tepee can carry luggage in

the rear compartment made available

by folding the third row bench seat.

A rear parcel shelf and a retractable

load space cover* conceal the

contents of the boot and the rear

compartment in the long version.

An increased payload is available as

an option on 8/9 seat versions.

Expert Tepee offers two manual

gearboxes adapted to its

different engines:

• a 5-speed gearbox for the

90 bhp HDi,

• a 6-speed gearbox for the

120 bhp HDi engine.

1.6 HDi 90

This 4 cylinder Diesel engine with

a capacity of 1560 cm3 features

16 valves, a dual overhead camshaft

and a fixed geometry turbo. Lively

and efficient, it is highly economical

and therefore perfectly adapted to

urban driving.

2.0 HDi 120

Compared to the 90 bhp version,

the 2.0 HDi 120 features a variable

geometry turbo.With the power

developed by its 120 bhp, its charac-

teristics make it the ideal engine both

for small trips in town and longer

journeys on the open road.

The engines of Expert Tepee have

been designed to make your journeys

as enjoyable as possible whilst

maximising efficiency. Both achieve the

same objective by offering important

fuel savings and environmentally-

friendly performance.

HDi technology

A source of performance and economy,

the Common Rail injection system

is featured on both HDi engines in

the Expert Tepee range. By injecting

high-pressure fuel directly into the

combustion chamber, this system

reduces fuel consumption and procures

additional power while conforming

with Euro 4 anti-pollution standards.

Pneumatic suspension

Specifically developed by Peugeot for Expert, the pneumatic suspension

offers a number of benefits:

A constant ride heightRegardless of vehicle load, the ride

height remains constant for enhanced

driveability and even greater comfort.

An overall height of 1.90 mExpert equipped with the pneumatic suspension allows you to park in car

parks where access is restricted to a height of 1.90 m.

The load sillA button in the Expert’s boot lets

you lower the load sill.

It is then the lowest on the market,

ensuring optimal ease of loading.500 mm

A vehicle’s safety can be assessed in two ways: active safety dependent on its handling,and passive safety assured by its structures and its equipment. Because maximum safety is the least you expect, Expert Tepee incorporates a range of innovations to protect both driver and passengers.

Reinforced structure

Design of the body frame ensures

energy absorption in the event of

impact to protect the occupants.

Integrity of the passenger

compartment is guaranteed as a

result of attachment of the engine

to the sub-frame.The doors are

reinforced by a capping and an

"impact" tube.The front bumper has

a high absorption capacity thanks to a

beam mounted on dampers screwed

to the chassis legs.

Front impact

Reinforced seat fittings and controlled

retraction of the pedal bracket and

steering column (allowing the

steering wheel to retract by 80 mm),

reduce injury in the event of front

impact. Particular attention has been

paid to the displacement of hard

incompressible masses in the engine

compartment so as to limit intrusion

into the passenger compartment.

Air bags

As standard, the front driver’s air bag

located in the steering wheel cushion

protects the chest and head. A front

passenger air bag, designed to cover

both the individual passenger seat

and the 2-seater bench seat

configuration, can also be installed,

as well as 2 side air bags* and

curtain air bags* in rows 1, 2 and 3.

Seat belts

At the front, height-adjustable 3-point

seat belts are equipped with

pretensioners and force limiters to

reduce the physical force to which

side occupants may be exposed.

Fasten seat belt indicator

A visual alarm, supplemented by

an acoustic alarm once Expert Tepee

exceeds 9 mph, indicates that a seat

belt is not fastened.These signals stop

as soon as the seat belt is fastened.

Head restraints

The removable head restraints

are height-adjustable to adapt to

the size of the occupants.


Intelligence that protects

Available on Expert Tepee as

an option or as standard, several

technologies play a part in preserving

your safety:

ABS, EBA

• The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

controls your trajectory during

emergency braking.

• Emergency Brake Assist (EBA)

provides extra assistance in the

event of vigorous braking by

amplifying the braking pressure

and reducing the stopping distance

to a minimum.

ESP (TC, ROM, DSC)*

• Traction Control (TC) prevents

wheel slip in the event of loss

of traction.

• The ROM (Roll Over Mitigation)

module, by acting on the brakes,

reduces the risk of vehicle rollover

in situations of extreme transverse

acceleration.

• Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)

continuously compares information

transmitted by the steering wheel

sensor and the yaw sensor to

detect any incipient understeer or

oversteer. It then deploys corrective

actions to preserve the trajectory

initially taken by the driver.

*Available as an option later in 2007.

To optimise braking efficiency,

endurance and reliability, all Expert

Tepee models are equipped with

four disc brakes.
