2. Polyester Intermediates• 4th largest producer of Paraxylene (PX), 7th of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) and 7
th of Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG). • In India, it is the largest manufacturer of polyester intermediates with a market
share of 100 % in some categories. • Reliance is the only producer of PX while there are two PTA and four MEG

capacity in India.

• Gujarat Refinery, at Koyali in Gujarat in Western India, is Indian Oil's largest refinery. The refinery was commissioned in 1965.
