Petro Sazeh Beinolmelal Aram Co. (IPS) is active in field of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and operation of refinery, petrochemical and power plant fixed equipment for nearly a decade. It is the first private company in EPC of spherical tanks and preforms handover of mega projects in Iran.

IPS FactoryIn accordance with the resistive economy policy, job creation and entrepreneurship promotion, localization

of its technical knowledge and increase of its hardware facility to produce spherical tanks and other refinery and power plant fix equipment IPS Co. has bulit a shop in the industrial zone of Semnan in 2014 and obtained the permission to establish an industrial unit from the Ministry of industry, trade and mines.

To form the petals on the spherical tank shells, the company has constructed and operated the heaviest and

most massive hydraulic press machine with a capacity of 3,000 metric tons (working span of 6 meters) in this factory. This factory is also equipped with all the machineries and equipment required to produce other parts and accessories of spherical tanks among which the most important equipment are as follows:

Commissioning and HandoverDuring the final critical phases of the national project to Expansion and Upgrading the Shazand Imam Khomeini Refinery Company and at final phases of the project (93% in progress), IPS was contractually involved to manage the handover of the units to the end-user.collecting specialists, defining the duties of all groups and codifying the administrative approaches toward passing each refinery unit through Pre-Commissioning , Commissioning and Start-Upstages, Handover management has obtained mechanical completion certificate for all units and then managed to obtain Provisional Acceptance Certificate by running operability & performance tests.It is magnificently noticeable that IPS Co. played an important role in completion of the national project of Shazand-Arak Refinery Expansion and Upgrading Project by using the latest knowledge of management, developing the accurate administrative procedures, timely supply of skilled manpower and full handover of documents related to the refinery units, etc. Also the company has been honored for its good service and effectiveness on timely accomplishment of this national project.
