Sindhu Darshan Festival - The Sindhu Darshan festival is a celebration of RiverSindhu or Indus. It's one of the world's longest rivers, and gave India its name. The festivalaims to project the Sindhu as a symbol of multi-dimensional cultural identity, communalharmony, and peaceful co-existence in India. It promises a kaleidoscope of Indian cultureand an exciting array of performing arts.When: June 1-3 each year.

Where: Leh, Ladakh.

Shimla Summer Festival - Beat the rain by heading north to the mountains in Shimla,to experience the five day summer festival. This renowned event has been held regularly inShimla since the 1960s. It features musical performances, some from famous singers, food

and fashion. Plenty of local handicrafts are on sale too.When: Usually during the first week of June. Where: Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

Rath Yatra - The exuberant 10 day Rath Yatra festival sees Lord Jagannath (areincarnation of Lords Vishnu and Krishna), along with and his elder brotherBalabhadra and sister Subhadra, venture out of their abode in Puri's JagannathTemple. The gods are transported on towering chariots. The main celebration happenson the first day.When: June 21, 2012.

Where: Jagannath Temple, Puri, Orissa.

Sao Joao Feast of St John the Baptist - The most popular festival in Goa, Sao Joao (thefertility feast of Saint John the Baptist), involves the interesting feat of men jumping intooverflowing village wells to retrieve bottles of local feni alcohol. There are also boat races,and singing and dancing.When: June 24, annually. Where: North Goa, particularly Siolim.

Capacitor bank connected in MCC control room with MCC panels a result capacitor bank works onlyfor connected MCC load not for the total load in the Transformer.4. Burnt contactor.5. Low rating Capacitor Bank.

6. Capacitor connected through MCB.7. Defective capacitor bank

Remedies which were identified 1. Selecting capacitor bank as per load and chart for selecting capacitor.2. Good quality capacitor, relay, contactor selection.3. Installing APFC panel adjacent to the main LT panel and control supply require for the APFC controller

must be taken from the breaker incomer terminal of Transformer in the LT panel.4. Connect each capacitor via MCCB other necessary equipment selecting good manufacture having goodknowledge in panel manufacturing.

Design of APFC Panel:- 1. Design the APFC panel as per the total Load.2. Using MCCB instate of using MCB & SFU.Selecting panel manufacturer: - Various quotation were obtained from many manufacturerand finally M/S Electromech was selected after seeing their credentials in web site. Theywere called to discuss the technical intricacies where in they had given their inputs basedon their past experience which was ratified by the technical dept. personnel from Junglepurand the corporate office there after the order was placed and the manufacturing wascompleted. Panel was inspected by Mr.Ranjan Bhanja and Mr.Shankar Debnath, then as pertheir suggestion the APFC panel was rectified and delivered to Jungalpur plant, then withthe help of their technical team and technical team from the manufacturer under theguidance from the corporate office. Required load testing and other electrical safetymeasures were checked and then it was put into operation under the guidance fromcorporate technical team. Yes it was a tough job to do in a running plant but it was donethough the time taken was high.
