Here are some examples of our work versus their work:
Notes All Photos are protected and
copyrighted by Digital Improvements 2005.
Digital Improvements Our film process captures directly to a DV
video file and has only been enhanced by our default (and included free) color correction.
Retail Chain Store Retail Chain Store was provided film and
standard VHS video tape. Tape was captured by us using a Professional JVC VCR with all
settings on maximum quality and captured to a DV file.
Notice the faces! Which do you think is more accurate?
Also notice that our "Full frame capture", captures the part of the man on the right.
Compare the colors, the clarity and especially the sky
in the upper right corner.

Check out the color and clarity of the building.
Again you can see more detail in our frame especially on the left and right sides of
the picture.
This example shows you why our "Frame by Frame"
capturing is superior to their bulk method.
The ghosting in their picture is a direct result of trying to
record the film while it is playing instead of capturing
each frame like we do.

with Enhancements Original
In case you were curious about what else we can offer in terms of restoration, here is an example of about 15
minutes of "enhancements" to the same frame above.
The "enhanced" image is sharper, brighter with better
contrast and over all a clearer image.
Take particular note of the faces and the left side of the
house.
