As a recent Business Enterprise Development graduate from the University of Portsmouth, I

have developed extensive industry experiences through undertaking several job roles,

university and entrepreneurial projects. These work experiences in organisations such as

Sainsbury’s and IBM have enabled me develop valuable skills through client-facing

responsibilities within fast-paced sectors. Other graduate and employability skills I have also

managed to develop from self-starter and voluntary work experiences include problem

solving, leadership and commercial awareness.

During internship with IBM, working as a Cloud Specialist in the Strategic Outsourcing (SO)

unit gave me an opportunity to contribute to IBM Cloud Softlayer projects by managing my

own research, liaising with various units, formulating business reports and participating in

project meetings. Utilising my excellent communication and interpersonal skills, I developed

and maintained successful working relationships with both internal and external

stakeholders within these organisations. Working as part of teams as operations and

marketing leaders in different university projects respectively, I utilised my problem solving

and consulting skills to make immense contributions to business consulting and innovation

projects on campus.

While at Sainsbury’s, I utilised the ample opportunity my customer service assistant role

within a local store provided to offer valuable information to customers, taking

responsibility of my actions and decisions within the store. I also enjoyed working in the

customer service team to ensure that the products and services we offered and customers

shopping experiences were of the highest quality.

I am currently seeking to secure a position within a technology retail company, where I can

bring immediate and strategic value, thereby further developing my current skill set.
