Photoshop Slide Share Prezi Microsoft Word Microsoft PowerPoint IPhoto Blogger

Photoshop helped create intense screenshots for our original media production (The film for AS media), it helped us develop early skills through tasks we did such as the opie task. It helped show I had knowledge of the software and allowed us to create more atmospheric creations for our production; e.g. posters for the film and add-ons for the final analysis.

Slide Share was a hosting site that enabled us to upload our “Word” and “PowerPoint” work and upload it to out blogger account.

I will develop my Photoshop skills in A2 for this product by developing production items like the “Digipack”, “Promotional Posters”, and others for my production.

I’m going to use Slide Share still to upload “Word” and “PowerPoint” and though not much can be developed, as it is just a medium to get those documents onto the Blogger page.

I will develop my skills more by using Prezi allot more, though it is more time consuming the overall product will look more eye catching, making it worthwhile.

Prezi is advanced versions of “Microsoft PowerPoint” with allot of freedom and looks allot more impressive.

Microsoft Word was used a medium to put my ideas onto the blog.

Overall my skills contributed to my media product by working to improve the quality of my overall product.

I summaries I will utilize the software more to create an worthwhile production, by developing my skills at using software such as “Photoshop”, “Prezi” and others to create an effective A2 piece.

Final Cut Pro Garage Band Live type

Final Cut Pro is an advanced video editing software; I was able to edit the film through it. Final cut came equipment with transitional devices and effects that I used in the postproduction of my AS project.

I really need to develop my editing techniques to create an astounding end product. I feel as though I need to hone my skills to create smooth transitions interesting visuals that can be brought out using Final Cut Pros effects.

I will probably be utilizing Live Type for this project to create the production logo for my A2 project. It will help make a more professional looking

The research and planning was the quintessential pillar of the project. The mind map and mood/ideas board helped us identify what we wanted to do while the storyboard and animatic helped us figure out the chorography of the characters and the animatic for time allocation.

These texts really gave me an outlook into the horror genre. Helping me to figure out what makes something suspenseful and why. Which I used in the production on my piece.

I am going to look at the conventions and the meaning in real media texts to create a relevant and true to the genre video if I can. Though I feel as though I would like to experiment with the style of video I want. I will take into consideration from what I have learnt thus far and incorporate them into in A2 project.
