PERSONAL SECURITY

What is security?
You can refer to security as the absence of risk or to the trust in something or someone.
What is personal safety?
The concept of Personal Safety, is the daily fight against crime and social violence, with a preventive approach.

• TO ENSURE YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY THE KEYS ARE:
• 90% PREVENTION
• 5% REACTION
• 5% LUCK
WALKING ON STREETS: What should you do if you suspect that you are being
followed?
• Walk observing everything that happens in their environment
• The offender is the distance enemy

IN THE PARKING What should you do to ensure your own safety?
• Prefer the paid parking.
• Plan your arrival and departure time.
• If something is suspicious.
• Do not leave house keys in the car.
• Never stay long inside the parked car.
• Do not leave any valuables in sight inside the car.
• Before parking (or when it returns) observe their environment.

• Never create situations that make the offender feel they are losing control.
• Never respond to physical attacks against you and your passengers.

• The main objective is to survive the assault.
• The offender drugged or drunk has altered reflexes.
Value your Life• Worrying about being careful to avoid becoming a victim of
assault, act on prevention, get a secure position and pro-active.
• Avoid provocations in transit, in bars or nightclubs. That is a sign of intelligence and not cowardice.
• During an assault, give all the objects that the thief orders you. Nothing is more valuable than life.
• Avoid all or any situation that may expose you to unnecessary risks.
