Australia is the biggest island and smallest conOnent. It is a country of manyculturesbecauseamixraceofpeoplelivethere.Therearemanyaboriginalpeople,Caucasians and Chinese immigrants. English is the most spoken language, thesecondisChinesebecauseofthelargeAsianpopulaOon.

BecauseAustraliaismostlyabigisland,therearealotofbeaches.Everyonelikestogo to thebeach onweekends and almosteveryoneknows howto swim.On thebeach they sun tan and playvolleyball. Surfingandsailingarecommon sports inAustralia, everyone likes them. They also like to eat BBQ meat, some authenOcAustralianBBQeatskangaroo,emuandsharkmeat.Therearefreegrillsforpeopletouseinparksnearthebeach.

Cricketisalsoanimportantandfavoritesport.AustraliacompeteagainstIndiaandPakistanincricketmatches.

A special holiday in Australia is Anzac’s day (April 25th)when they celebrate thecourage of Australian soldiers that died in World War 2. They have a big armyparadeatdawnandhaveanarmyveteransmarch.

澳洲是世界上最大的岛，但却是世界上最小的洲。他是一个多文化的国家因为有许

多民族的人住在那里。这有许多土著居民，高加索人和中国移民。英语是最通用的语

言，因为亚洲人数量庞大，汉语居第二。

因为澳洲是一个很大的岛，所以这有许多海滩。每个人都喜欢在周末到海滩去玩，

而且几乎都会游泳。在海滩上，他们打排球，晒太阳把皮肤晒成棕褐色。在澳大利亚，

冲浪和帆船是常见的运动,每个年轻人都喜欢。他们也喜欢吃烧烤肉,一些正宗澳洲烧烤吃

是袋鼠, 鸸鹋和鲨鱼肉。在公园附近的海滩上，有免费的烧烤架供人们使用。

Canada is also amulO‐cultural country on top of USA. There are also aboriginalpeople living in Northern Canada named the Inuits. Most of the populaOon inCanada are in the south. There are a lot of Chinese and Indian immigrants inCanada.ThereisasmallporOonofCanadathatis French‐canadianintheprovinceofQuebec.They’remainlanguageisFrenchwhileeverywhereelseisEnglish.

A special type of police force that Canada is famous for is the Royal CanadianMountedPolice(RCMP). Itis theofficialpoliceforceinCanada.Thereisaspecialuniformtheyhavetowear.OnCanadaDayonJuly1st,theRCMPmarchinparadeswhileridinghorses.

A favorite food in Canada is pouOne, which is gravy and cheese covered frenchfries. Everyone of all ages like to eat it. another famous food is maple syrup.Canadiansliketoeatmaplesyrupinthemorningwithpancakes.

美国上面的国家是叫加拿大，加拿大是一个多元文化的国家。也有一些土

著居民生活在加拿大北部，名为爱斯基摩人。大部分人口在加拿大的南部因为

气候更暖和。这儿还有很多中国和印度移民。在加拿大魁北克省有一小部分法

裔加拿大人。他们的主要语言是法语而其他余地区是英语。

加拿大的大多数地方都很冷除了夏天。人们喜欢打冰球和滑雪。因为加拿

大有很多森林，在周末，家人喜欢一起去旅行野营。

加拿大皇家骑警队(RCMP) 闻名于世。在加拿大，它是官方的警察部队。他

The tradiOonal clothing for the girls are called chinita, they are flowerpaderneddresseswithanapron.Boyswearponchoswhich isapieceofthickcloththatiswornoverthehead.

智利是世界上地形最狭长的国家，它位于南美洲，主要的语言是西班牙语，

但学校里面也教授英语。在智利，许多青少年在乐队里玩乐器。音乐在青少年生

活中占很大比重。另外，几乎所有家庭都有一只宠物,最普通的宠物是狗或猫。

在周末，他们喜欢去看电影、滑冰。人们喜欢去附近海岸的海滩上放松。海

滩在夏天是最受欢迎的地方之一。

在9月18日国庆节，人们喜欢聚集在一起烧烤、放风筝，吃 empanadas、喝

chicha。Empanadas 是用肉和蔬菜做的一种点心。而 chicha 就像加了酒的葡萄

汁。

女孩子们的传统服装被称为希尼塔，花朵图案的穿著带有一条围裙。男孩子

穿斗蓬，就是一块厚布架在头顶上。

埃塞俄比亚是在非洲东边的一个国家。它的主要语言是阿姆哈拉语，英语不

是很广泛的使用。许多人是基督教徒或者穆斯林，他们会庆祝许多宗教节日。另

外，在埃塞俄比亚还有许多不同的部落。

咖啡是绝大部分人谋生的主要来源。据说咖啡豆起源于埃塞俄比亚卡法。埃塞俄

比亚人会花很长时间享受喝咖啡的休闲时光。

在埃塞俄比亚，主要的食物是海绵样的面包，被称为injera。他们通常用手

吃炖鸡被称为doro Wat。另一个传统菜是kitfo，鲜碎牛肉加热拌上辛辣的红辣

椒粉，与injera面包一起吃。

通常一个家庭里有五、六个孩子，整个家庭务农谋生。在他们的业余时间，

埃塞俄比亚人喜欢踢足球或跳舞。他们会演奏手鼓，被称为kebero，更喜欢听

德国是欧洲的一个国家。有很多著名的人物，像德国哲学家卡尔马克思。

德国的主要语言是德语，但因为有很多土耳其人和中国人也住在德国，很多人

讲土耳其语和普通话和广东话。

在德国有各种各样的美味。孩子们喜欢吃 Haribo 牌子的糖像软糖熊和。吃

肉和饮料时都是一大份。Scnitzel是一种日常食物，面包和肉在一起。青少年也

喜欢吃flammkuchen，它就像一个比萨。

平均每个家庭都会有一、两个孩子，他们喜欢去主题公园，如乐高乐园和欧洲

印度是一个在西亚洲的国家。印度教和佛教都起源与这。主要语言是印地语

可是因为印度那么大，也有很多地区的语言像在中国一样。

印度有他们自己的电影工业，被称为宝莱坞。板球和宝莱坞对印度来说很重

要。不管老少都喜欢看宝茉坞电影和打板球。恒河是印度最大也是最重要的

河，因为人们洗澡、洗衣服、游戏都会在这条河里。恒河的重要程度就像是黄

河和长江对中国一样。

平均每个家庭四口人，也有许多住在一起的大家庭。女孩穿丝绸做的纱丽还

戴非常艳丽的头巾。男孩则穿颜色亮丽的罩衫。

在开春有一个非常有意思的节日叫胡里节。在每年三月胡里节的时候，人们

会彼此泼五颜六色的水，还会做糖果吃。他们想春天是非常五彩斑斓的，所以

他们互相泼五颜六色的水以欢迎春天。

Japan is made out of main islands on the coast of central Asia. Theweatherandpeoplearedifferentfromthenorthtosouth.ThenorthofJapanisverycoldinwinterbutitgreatforskiingwhilethesouthismorewarmweatheredandforswimmingatthebeach.

The main food eaten is rice and seafood because Japan is an island.Children like to someOmes putmore flavor into their rice by pukngseasoning packets onto the top of the rice. The seasoning is mostlymade up of sesame seeds and seaweed. Miso soup also is eateneverydayinthemorningoratdinner.Sushi,isusuallyeatenatdinneroras a quick lunch. It is usually small balls of rice toppedwith raw fish,vegetableorcookedsweeteggthenwrappedwithseaweed.

Japanese people are very sporOve. Most Japanese students are verygood at playing badminton and volleyball. Soiball is a sport, whichmostlyboysliketoplay.EveryoneintheirfreeOmeliketogotokaraokewithfriendsasahangoutplace.

日本是位于亚洲大陆东岸外的太平洋岛国。这儿的天气和人民从北到男

有很多不同。日本的北部在冬天非常冷，滑雪运动很出名，而南部则很温

暖，适宜于在海难游泳。

因为日本是个岛国，所以主要的食物是米饭和海鲜。孩子们通常喜欢将

调味料放在米饭里，这些调味料是用芝麻和海藻做成的。平常，在早饭和晚

饭的时候人们会喝味噌汤。寿司会在晚饭或吃快餐的时候吃到。它通常是一

卡塔尔是中东一个非常小的国家。四分之三的人是因为工作而移民到这

Singapore is a verymulO‐culturalcountry.LongOme ago,people frommanyother Asian countries came and lived in Singapore. They main types ofSingaporeans are Chinese,Malay and Indian.Chinese singaporean takes up75%ofSingapore.Eventhoughtheylookdifferent,everyonebelievestheyarethesameasawhole.BecauseofthedifferentamountofpeopleinSingapore,they celebrate many different countries’ holidays. They celebrate holidayssuch as Chinese NewYear, Deepvali (an Indian fesOval) and Christmas. ThemainlanguagesareEnglish,Mandarin,Malay,andHindi.

Themain foodeaten in Singapore is riceornoodles.Teenagers and childrenlike to drink many canned drinks, not only sodas but also fruit juice andothers.Oneofthe famous dishes istheHainaneseChicken riceand theChilipeppercrab.

Cleanliness is very important in Singapore, there is a strong law againstlidering.Not followinganyoneof the laws result inverybigfinesofmoney.Younger children also must be polite and generous towards the oldergeneraOons.

新加坡是一个多文化的国家。很久以前，人们从其它亚洲国家来这里并

生活下来。他们主要是华人、马来人、印度人。华裔新加坡人占个新加坡人

口的75%。即使他们看起来不同，但是他们每一个人都相信他们作为一个整

体的相同的。由于新加坡许多人的不同，导致他们会过不同国家的节日。他

们会过春节，Deepvali（一种印度节日），还有圣诞节。

新加坡人的主食是米饭和面条。年轻人喜欢喝罐装饮料，包括碳酸饮料

和果汁等。著名的美食是海南鸡饭和豉椒炒肉蟹。

新加坡十分重视清洁，他们制定很严格的法律来管理乱扔杂物的行为。

违反法律就会导致大笔的罚款。年轻人对老年人也非常的好，很有礼貌。
