Location

sharon is a town in Weakley County, in Northwest Tennessee. it is located approximately 2 hours Northeast of Memphis and 2.5 hours West of Nashville.

Weakley County is located on the Plateau slope of West Tennessee. it is bordered on the north by Kentucky, on the east by Henry County, on the south by Carroll and Gibson Counties, and on the west by obion County. The County is 26 miles from north to south, and 24 miles east to west.

Top employers in the County include university of Tennessee, MTd Products, volunteer Community Hospital and Northwest Tennessee development district.

Martin is located approximately 8 miles North of sharon and is home to the university of Tennessee at Martin, which has the largest enrollment percentage increase off any four-year public university on the state of Tennessee.
