Lazar Oana Ramona MIEADR IMAPA Group 8115 Peris is a commune located in the northwest county of Ilfov , Muntenia , Romania . It was developed on the left bank of the valley Snagov , which in this area shows a wide aisle , meander with gentle sides. Peris commune consists of five villages: Peris , Bratulesti, Cocioc , Balteni and Burias . Village is situated between the Ialomita river and Lake Snagov . Low level due to the difference which rivers flow , formed a large number of lakes , most natural. Some tourist attractions Some tourist attractions Hermitage Balteni The Monastery here is one of the most priceless treasures of Peris . Balteni hermitage was built in 1610 and is located at the entrance to the village of the same name. It is believed that the church was built by Prince Radu Negru following a dream, before a battle with the Tartars.Today, it is a tall, slender building, brick, unpainted, with roof shingles. It is declared as a national monument. Palace Scrovistea For a while, the palace belonged to the Royal House of Romania and was inhabited by members of the Hohenzollern dynasty. This has made the name of the palace to be linked to the country's history. Currently, the palace is part of the heritage of Romania's protocol is even open for a while, interested tourists to admire the fantastic architecture and opulence but the Ceausescu family lived in Scrovistea Palace.
