Available on downdraft and semi-downdraft Performer Booths, the High-Performance Airfl ow Ceiling allows for even distribution of air throughout the booth, providing

excellent air fi ltration and precise contamination control. Integrated hip-style ceiling lights illuminate the top and

sides of the vehicle, reducing shadows.

MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTIONManufactured at our U.S. facility, Performer Paint Booths are made with high-quality galvanized steel panels. Vertical wall panels reduce the number of joints and seams in the cabin’s construction, leaving you with a stronger, longer-lasting booth with a smooth fi t and fi nish. Dual-skin panels on Performer XP1 and XD Booths are coated on both sides with a white, baked-on polyester topcoat, creating a rust-resistant cabin.

Generally accepted as the best airfl ow style, downdraft booths do an excellent job of controlling overspray and contamination. Air enters a downdraft Performer Booth through a fi ltered ceiling plenum. From there, air fl ows vertically over the vehicle or

part and into the fi ltered exhaust pit in the fl oor.

The semi-downdraft booth is a hybrid, combining features of both crossdraft and downdraft airfl ow styles. Air is introduced into semi-downdraft Performer Booths through a fi ltered ceiling plenum in the fi rst 25 to 30 percent

of the booth. It is then pulled through the working chamber, over the vehicle or part and into the fi ltered exhaust chamber at the rear of the booth.

The most cost-effective airfl ow style, crossdraft booths offer reliable performance at an affordable price. Air enters through fi ltered product doors or plenum at the front of the crossdraft Performer Booth, and fl ows horizontally

over the vehicle or part and into the fi ltered exhaust chamber at the rear of the booth.

INTUITIVE CONTROLSGFS control panels are UL listed and designed, built and pre-tested at our facility to ensure trouble-free startups. GFS offers three platform options for Performer Booth controls — LOGIC, Engage® and electromechanical control panels. LOGIC and Engage control panels provide painters with full control over the booth, with touch-screen interfaces, spray temperature and booth mode monitoring, energy-saving settings, booth balancing and self diagnostics. Available on Performer ES Booths, the simplifi ed electromechanical control panel allows for easy control over the booth exhaust, safety interlocks and lights.

CONTROL FEATURESSmartFlash and SmartCure® technology — available exclusively with LOGIC controls — enables users to create different profi les for fl ashing or curing,

making it easier for painters to set up each booth cycle for different coatings and vehicles, increasing cycle effi ciency. This smart technology also helps reduce utility costs, with SmartFlash allowing up to 90 percent of the air to be recirculated during fl ash mode and SmartCure automatically

reducing the air temperature once the metal reaches the desired temperature during the cure cycle.

Economy mode — standard on LOGIC and Engage controls — offers shops savings of up to 60 percent in electricity and 75 percent in fuel costs. This energy-saving feature automatically ramps the booth down and runs on idle when the booth is not in use.

SpaceSaver

AIR HEATERSGFS offers the fl exibility of three air heater options — our best-in-class GUL2000, the versatile BT1200 or the low-profi le SpaceSaver® — with the Performer Paint Booth line.

The GUL2000, our premium heater, includes features such as dual VFDs, direct-drive motors and an exclusive fan design for effi ciency and reliability.

The highly versatile BT1200 heater is available in both recirculating and forced dry models, with dual VFDs and automatic pressure control.

A high-performance heater in a low-profi le package, GFS’ exclusive roof-integrated SpaceSaver heater compacts a highly effi cient heat system into the same area as the paint booth plenum.

Without adding on to the booth’s footprint, SpaceSaver provides high-effi ciency heat and easier booth placement for space-conscious businesses.

Performer Booths feature strategically placed, vertical sidewall light fi xtures for precise lighting and minimal shadows. Integrated into the High-Performance Airfl ow Ceiling, Performer XP1 and XD models also come with hip lighting for a brighter fi nishing environment. Manufactured at our U.S.

facility for consistent quality, GFS light fi xtures are ETL and ETL-C listed, and feature color-corrected, T8 fl uorescent lamps. Many fi xture and lamp options are available to customize booth lighting to meet your needs, including energy-effi cient LED lamps and six-tube fl uorescent fi xtures or light refl ectors for up to

20 percent more luminosity.

GFS doors and windows are designed with durability and fl exibility in mind. Each Performer Paint Booth includes a two- or three-wing product door and one personnel door. Depending on the layout of your booth and desired process fl ow, optional confi gurations — such as drive-thru doors — may be right for you. Observation windows are included on some product and personnel doors or can be added.

Increasing productivity and effi ciency, AdvanceCure Systems cut the time needed to cure paint in half, saving time and energy compared to traditional curing methods. During the cure cycle, this turbulent airfl ow dramatically improves the heat transfer from the air to the painted panels, and provides even heat distribution over the entire vehicle.

AdvanceCure models are available in Blade® or nozzle design, and can be integrated directly into your Performer Booth or retrofi tted at a later time.

CODE COMPLIANT& ETL LISTEDThe Performer Paint Booth line is designed to meet all industry safety standards and comply with applicable International Fire Code (IFC) and NFPA codes for proper airfl ow and paint booth use. All Performer Paint Booth models and standard options have achieved ETL and ETL-C listing, validating performance and ensuring worry-free planning and installation.

The ETL or ETL-C mark on your booth is proof of compliance with North American safety standards, including NFPA, OSHA, UL and more. A UL or CUL listing verifi es that Underwriters Laboratories has tested GFS’ product and determined that it meets UL’s stringent requirements. GFS works with these third-party agencies to ensure the safety of our Performer Paint Booths and their components.
