Tanel® 360°® was founded in 1986 by Mike Tanel, once an outstanding college football player with the promise of a bright future in the NFL. His career as a defensive end with the Green Bay Packers came to an abrupt end when a block caused Mike’s body to twist while his foot was firmly planted. His injury, although devastating, inspired the design of

the patented 360° circular cleat pattern and the birth of Tanel 360°.

In 2001, Tim “the shoe guy” Sellner purchased Tanel 360° from Mike, bringing his passion for baseball and softball and years of customer service experience with him. His mission for Tanel 360° was, and still is, to provide the highest quality sports equipment available

and consistently deliver the best customer service in the industry.

Tim jumped headfirst into Tanel 360° by taking to the fields to educate athletes on the importance of wearing a high-quality shoe engineered specifically to enhance perfor-

mance and prevent injuries. Today, Tim and the Tanel Crew still travel to tournaments from coast to coast fitting players and educating coaches, one team at a time.
