    rapidly compensated by the body.

    before the blood donation.

    Each unit of blood collected will be examined

    for 5 transfusion transmissible infectiousdiseases namely HIV, Malaria, Syphilis,

    Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C before it is

    transfused to patients.
