About the People of Post Grant Program Support a not-for-profit making a difference in your community The People of Post Grants gives Australia Post workforce members the opportunity to nominate a local organisation for a grant of up to $500 for an approved project These grants aim to strengthen the communities our workforce members are connected to by supporting projects that

Why did you nominate The Personal Advocacy Service The Personal Advocacy Service is a very active organisation in my community providing one on one friendships and advocacy support for people with intellectual disabilities The grant helped PAS partially fund an Inclusivity Project bringing together all the Willetton branch registered members for a joint fellowship Would you encourage your colleagues to nominate I certainly would encourage my colleagues to nominate as it is so fulfilling and rewarding to support programs that create meaningful impact in your community The process to nominate is simple and very user friendly I will again nominate this year as I strongly feel that this grant makes a tremendous contribution to those organisations that are doing it tough and need this support

Why did you nominate the Bayelsa Association of Australia I am the current President of the Bayelsa Association of Australia I nominated our Association in 2019 as we are an emerging community organisation in Queensland With the establishment of a Website from the grant it has made the association more visible and accessible It has also given credibility to the existence of the association Would you encourage your colleagues to nominate Absolutely I will encourage my colleagues to nominate because it enhances community development The grants enable small and medium size community groups like ours to access community development resources The grants help show that Australia Post is a community-orientated company and engages with communities at every level

Why did you nominate a community organisation Local community groups really took a hit during COVID-19 as they didnrsquot have funds coming in We thought it would be great to help them with projects they had to sideline because of COVID-19 Janice nominated Bravo Disability Support Network and Caitlin nominated Gympie and District Hockey Association in 2020 Would you encourage your colleagues to nominate Yes definitely In 2020 we had four team members from Gympie Post Office successfully nominate community groups for a grant The nomination is very straightforward and an easy way to create some community ties and build on our relationship with different parts of the community It is so easy to nominate and can make such a positive impact for your chosen organisation

Eligibility Nominator eligibility All Australia Post Group workforce members (staff and contractors including StarTrack Decipha SecurePay POLi LPO Licensees and their employees contractors and community postal agents) are eligible to nominate a projectorganisation A maximum of one nomination per workforce member will be eligible for consideration and a maximum of one grant per nominated organisation may be awarded

Organisation eligibility To be eligible to apply nominated organisations must meet all of the following criteria

1 Be a not-for-profit organisation 2 Have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) with a not-for-profit status 3 Be located in and provide services within Australia and 4 Have a bank account in its name

Individuals sole traders and educational institutions are not eligible to apply We do not accept auspice arrangements Government entities are not eligible to apply unless they are managed by community representatives for community use and benefit (such as Country Fire Authority branches local hall management committees etc) If you believe your organisation may fall within this category please contact the grants team on 1300 765 772 or grantsauspostcomau before applying These government entities may have an alternative ABN status

Project eligibility

We are seeking projects that deliver community benefit Eligible organisations can apply for funding for eligible projects such as

bull Equipment supplies bull Community events bull Website development or materials including bull Training bull Newsletters and bulletins electronic equipment (eg First Aid English as a bull And more (eg computers tablets) second language food safety)

bull Workshops

Projects must begin no earlier than 1 June 2021 and complete no later than 30 June 2022 We are looking for grant applicants across metro regional and remote areas of Australia

There are a few areas that arenrsquot eligible for funding bull Individuals bull General operating costs such as rent power

salaries or insurance bull General donations with no specific benefit bull Organisations or activities that support gambling bull Fundraising including fundraiser events

political or religious associations or events bull Travel expenses bull High-risk events or activities bull Postage and delivery courier services bull Activities that damage or harm the environment bull Projects where the primary activity involves alcohol bull Expenses that have already been incurred or that drug or tobacco use

will have been incurred by the time funding is given bull Projectsprograms that discriminate or exclude bull Capital improvements members of the community bull Projects that are implemented outside of Australia bull Projects undertaken for commercial gain

or benefit bull Projects with a total cost of $5000 or more bull Scholarships fundraising appeals

or sponsorship activity

Instructions for Australia Post workforce How to nominate Step 1 Contact the organisation you want to support Contact the not-for-profit organisation you would like to support and ask if they have a project thatrsquos eligible and if they would be happy for you to nominate them Check that the organisation is a not-for-profit and ask them for

Let the organisation know that if they are deemed eligible by Australia Post they will also need to complete an online application form in order to be considered for a grant The only way they can access the application form will be via a link in an email from Australia Post inviting them to apply

Step 2 Complete the nomination form Complete the nomination form at ourpostcomaupopgrants yoursquoll need to create a user name and password by 1159pm AEDT on 7 March 2021 Yoursquoll need

1 Information about you a Your contact details including your email address (either work or private email address)

Donrsquot have an email Call 1300 765 772 b Your employment details including your managerrsquos name and your APSWFID number (if you have one)

2 Information about the organisation a The registered name of the organisation yoursquore nominating b The organisationrsquos ABN c The namedescription of the project that would benefit from a grant of up to $500 d Details of the relevant contact at the organisation (phone and email) Must not be a member

of the Australia Post workforce or immediate family member of the nominator

Step 3 The organisation receives an invite Once wersquove received your nomination wersquoll review your nomination and if deemed eligible invite your nominated organisation to submit an application We may reach out to you to confirm some details about your nomination

Step 4 Watch your inbox Keep an eye out for emails from Australia Post If you havenrsquot received an email by the end of March check your Junk or Spam folder and email us if you arenrsquot sure

Instructions for Community Organisation How to apply Step 1 Yoursquove received an email inviting you to complete an application Congratulations yoursquove been nominated for an Australia Post People of Post Grant Make sure you read all the information in these Guidelines including the eligibility criteria and the Terms amp Conditions

Step 2 Complete the application form To be considered for a grant you must complete and successfully submit the application form by 1159pm AEST on 11 April 2021 Your email inviting you to apply includes the link to the application form To complete the application yoursquoll need

1 The name of the Australia Post workforce member who nominated you for the grant (Yoursquoll find this in the original email we sent to you)

2 Your organisationrsquos details including your organisationrsquos ABN 3 A project contact from your organisation 4 A description of your project and how it will support your community 5 Specific details about how yoursquoll use the grant funds if successful 6 Your organisationrsquos bank account details (for depositing grant funds if awarded This must be a bank account

in the name of your organisation - funds will not be deposited into an individualrsquos bank account) In completing an application nominated organisations are required to accept these Guidelines including the Terms amp Conditions Contact us at grantsauspostcomau or 1300 765 772 if you need any assistance

Important information to know Announcements We will contact all nominators and applicants to the People of Post Grants via email to inform them of the outcome in May 2021

Successful applications Payment Payment will be made into grant recipientsrsquo nominated bank account

Acquittal Grant recipients will need to complete an acquittal within one month of the project ending providing details about how the grant funds were spent on the project

Media photos promotions In addition to the acquittal requirements we may ask grant recipients to share with us photos showing the impact the grant has had on the local community - people connecting volunteers getting involved and the wider community being supported We may also ask nominators andor grant recipients to take part in media activities (such as photo opportunities media calls) or provide a quote for inclusion in a media release so we can share some of these stories with our employees customers partners and networks Please note In submitting their nomination or application nominators and applicants consent to Australia Post using the information disclosed (other than personal information) and other publicly available information when promoting the People of Post Grants

Terms and conditions The following terms and conditions apply to the 2021 People of Post Grant Program 1 Capitalised terms in these Terms and Conditions

have the following meanings ldquoApplicationrdquo means the online form that a Nominated Organisation must complete and submit following a Nomination in order to be considered for a Grant ldquoAustralia Postrdquo means the Australian Postal Corporation (ABN 28 864 970 579) ldquoEligibility Criteriardquo means any eligibility criteria for organisations andor a Project set out in the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions ldquoGrantrdquo means any funds awarded to a successful Nominated Organisation under the Program ldquoGuidelinesrdquo means the document titled ldquoPeople of Post Grants Guidelines 2021rdquo (available at ourpostcomau) that sets out details of the Program including Eligibility Criteria and the application consideration and awarding process to which these Terms and Conditions are attached ldquoNominationrdquo means the nomination of an organisation by a Workforce Member for consideration as a potential Recipient ldquoNomination Formrdquo means the form a Nominator must complete and submit in order for their Nominated Organisation to be considered as a potential Recipient ldquoNominatorrdquo means a Workforce Member who submits a Nomination ldquoNominated Organisationrdquo means an organisation that has been nominated by a Workforce Member as a potential Recipient ldquoProgramrdquo means the 2021 People of Post Grant Program ldquoProjectrdquo means a project purchase or activity in relation to which a Nominated Organisation submits an Application ldquoRecipientrdquo means a Nominated Organisation which is successful in being awarded a Grant and ldquoWorkforce Memberrdquo means an Australia Post Group staff member or contractor including StarTrack Decipha SecurePay and POLi staff members and contractors Licensed Post Office licensees and their employees contractors and community postal agents

2 Applications will be considered only from Australian not-for-profit organisations which meet the Eligibility Criteria and in compliance with the Guidelines and these Terms and Conditions

3 To be eligible to participate in the Program an organisation must be nominated by a Workforce Member who provides the required information about the Nominated Organisation and accurately completes the Nomination Form Upon receipt of a Nomination Australia Post will contact the Nominated Organisation and invite it to complete an Application

4 A maximum of one (1) Nomination per Workforce Member will be eligible for consideration and a maximum of one (1) Grant per Nominated Organisation may be awarded

5 Workforce Members may nominate an organisation by completing a Nomination Form between 900am (AEDT) Monday 8 February 2021 and 1159pm (AEDT) Sunday 7 March 2021

6 Upon receipt of a valid Nomination Australia Post will verify and review the information contained in the Nomination Form and if the Nominated Organisation meets the Eligibility Criteria contact the Nominated Organisation to invite it to complete an Application

7 If a Nominator submits multiple Nominations Australia Post may a ask the Nominator to select one (1) of those

Nominations only for Australia Post to consider or

b at its sole discretion select which of that Nominatorrsquos Nominations to consider

and any additional Nominations by that Nominator will be disregarded by Australia Post

8 In the event more than one (1) Nomination for a particular Nominated Organisation is received Australia Post will consider only the first earliest received Nomination For the purposes of this clause 8 any additional Nominations disregarded by Australia Post under clause 7 above will not be taken into account

9 To be eligible for consideration for a Grant a Nominated Organisation must submit its Application in accordance with the submission instructions including providing details of the Project and all other requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions and the Guidelines between 900am (AEDT) Monday 15 March 2021 and 1159pm (AEST) Sunday 11 April 2021

10 Not every Application that meets the Eligibility Criteria may be awarded a Grant Decisions as to which Nominated Organisations will receive a Grant and the amount of any such Grant is at the sole discretion of Australia Post and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the decision process or the outcome

11 By providing information in a Nomination Form the Nominator consents to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program This includes the sharing of information contained in the Nomination Form and any subsequent correspondence with Nominated Organisations for the purposes of administering the Program

12 By providing information in an Application Nominated Organisations consent to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding the Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program

13 Australia Post may consult with third parties for the purpose of reviewing Nominations and Applications and conducting due diligence

14 Australia Post reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of Nominations andor Applications and to disqualify any Nomination or Application that is not in accordance with the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions

15 The Grant must be used and applied solely for the purpose of the Project within 12 months of receipt of the Grant

16 Recipients will be required to complete an Acquittal in the form advised by Australia Post detailing how the Grant was applied to the Project

17 Grant funds will be deposited only into a bank account held by the Recipient Recipients should seek their own advice as to whether they have a GST liability arising in connection with the Grant Any Grant includes any GST if applicable

18 Without limitation to clause 19 below if at any time the Project can no longer be undertaken in the manner described in the Application the Recipient must promptly advise Australia Post to discuss alternative options

19 In the event a of payment in error overpayment andor

misuse of a Grant (in full or in part) b the Recipientrsquos failure to comply with the

Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions or

c the Project cannot be completed in the manner described in the Application

the Recipient must if requested in writing by Australia Post promptly repay the Grant to Australia Post in part or in full as per Australia Postrsquos direction

20 The Recipient may acknowledge the Program and Australia Postrsquos support of the Project in promotional and similar material however is not permitted to use the Australia Post logo or branding unless separate written permission has been obtained Any proposed media releases regarding the Program must be submitted to Australia Post for review which will require a minimum of 10 business days

21 The Recipient must not do or say anything or cause anyone to do or say anything that may prejudice or be detrimental to or cause damage to the name and reputation of Australia Post

22 In addition to materials required to be provided as part of the Acquittal Australia Post may request the Recipient to provide photos andor quotes in relation to the Program or the Project In relation to any such materials the Recipient provides to Australia Post the Recipient a warrants that the provision to and use by

Australia Post will not breach the intellectual property or other rights of any third party

b must obtain and provide a ldquoTalent Releaserdquo or similar document in the form required by Australia Post from time to time signed by any persons appearing in such photos and

c provides an unlimited irrevocable royalty-free worldwide licence to Australia Post to use the materials for any internal and external marketing and promotional purposes

23 Australia Post may promote the Program and report on the Project using information in the Application additional information and media (including photos and quotes) obtained from the Recipient or otherwise available publicly to its partners customers employees Australia Post representatives and networks and the community through internal and external communication channels including but not limited to online social media and in Australia Post outlets

24 Australia Post is not liable for any additional costs incurred by the Recipient or any other party associated with the Application the Project and or the receipt of a Grant In the event the total Project costs exceed the forecast amount and or the notified Grant amount Australia Post is not responsible or obliged to pay any additional amount

25 While Australia Post has taken care in producing the Guidelines Australia Post makes no representations in respect of (and to the extent permitted by law excludes all warranties in relation to) the accuracy or completeness of the information contained therein Australia Post excludes all liability whatsoever for any loss or damage howsoever arising out of reliance in whole or in part on the information

26 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits excludes or modifies or purports to limit exclude or modify any applicable statutory consumer guarantees (including those provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded Australia Post (and its respective officers employees and agents) exclude all liability (including for negligence) for any personal injury loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct indirect special or consequential resulting from or arising in any way out of the Program

27 The Recipient agrees to indemnify (and keep indemnified) Australia Post (including its officers employees and agents) against any loss or liability incurred by Australia Post (including any loss or damage to their property or loss or expense incurred by them in dealing with any claim against them) arising from any acts or omissions done by the Recipient or its employees or agents in connection with the Program

28 The Recipient must obtain and maintain adequate insurance (including public liability insurance) for all activities it carries out in relation to the Project including against any claims for loss or damage to property and injury or death to person

29 Australia Post reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Program at any time without notice These Terms and Conditions andor the Guidelines may be amended or withdrawn at the discretion of Australia Post and are available upon request by contacting Australia Post at grantsauspostcomau or calling 1300 765 772

30 Australia Post collects personal information in order to facilitate the Program Personal information provided by Nominators andor Nominated Organisations may be disclosed to a range of organisations and external industry experts to assist in assessing Applications and Nominations Without this information Australia Post would be unable to conduct the Program Personal information is handled in accordance with the Australia Post Group Privacy Statement which outlines how to access andor correct personal information or to make a privacy related complaint For more information please visit wwwauspostcomauprivacy

Terms and conditions The following terms and conditions apply to the 2021 People of Post Grant Program 1 Capitalised terms in these Terms and Conditions

have the following meanings ldquoApplicationrdquo means the online form that a Nominated Organisation must complete and submit following a Nomination in order to be considered for a Grant ldquoAustralia Postrdquo means the Australian Postal Corporation (ABN 28 864 970 579) ldquoEligibility Criteriardquo means any eligibility criteria for organisations andor a Project set out in the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions ldquoGrantrdquo means any funds awarded to a successful Nominated Organisation under the Program ldquoGuidelinesrdquo means the document titled ldquoPeople of Post Grants Guidelines 2021rdquo (available at ourpostcomau) that sets out details of the Program including Eligibility Criteria and the application consideration and awarding process to which these Terms and Conditions are attached ldquoNominationrdquo means the nomination of an organisation by a Workforce Member for consideration as a potential Recipient ldquoNomination Formrdquo means the form a Nominator must complete and submit in order for their Nominated Organisation to be considered as a potential Recipient ldquoNominatorrdquo means a Workforce Member who submits a Nomination ldquoNominated Organisationrdquo means an organisation that has been nominated by a Workforce Member as a potential Recipient ldquoProgramrdquo means the 2021 People of Post Grant Program ldquoProjectrdquo means a project purchase or activity in relation to which a Nominated Organisation submits an Application ldquoRecipientrdquo means a Nominated Organisation which is successful in being awarded a Grant and ldquoWorkforce Memberrdquo means an Australia Post Group staff member or contractor including StarTrack Decipha SecurePay and POLi staff members and contractors Licensed Post Office licensees and their employees contractors and community postal agents

2 Applications will be considered only from Australian not-for-profit organisations which meet the Eligibility Criteria and in compliance with the Guidelines and these Terms and Conditions

3 To be eligible to participate in the Program an organisation must be nominated by a Workforce Member who provides the required information about the Nominated Organisation and accurately completes the Nomination Form Upon receipt of a Nomination Australia Post will contact the Nominated Organisation and invite it to complete an Application

4 A maximum of one (1) Nomination per Workforce Member will be eligible for consideration and a maximum of one (1) Grant per Nominated Organisation may be awarded

5 Workforce Members may nominate an organisation by completing a Nomination Form between 900am (AEDT) Monday 8 February 2021 and 1159pm (AEDT) Sunday 7 March 2021

6 Upon receipt of a valid Nomination Australia Post will verify and review the information contained in the Nomination Form and if the Nominated Organisation meets the Eligibility Criteria contact the Nominated Organisation to invite it to complete an Application

7 If a Nominator submits multiple Nominations Australia Post may a ask the Nominator to select one (1) of those

Nominations only for Australia Post to consider or

b at its sole discretion select which of that Nominatorrsquos Nominations to consider

and any additional Nominations by that Nominator will be disregarded by Australia Post

8 In the event more than one (1) Nomination for a particular Nominated Organisation is received Australia Post will consider only the first earliest received Nomination For the purposes of this clause 8 any additional Nominations disregarded by Australia Post under clause 7 above will not be taken into account

9 To be eligible for consideration for a Grant a Nominated Organisation must submit its Application in accordance with the submission instructions including providing details of the Project and all other requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions and the Guidelines between 900am (AEDT) Monday 15 March 2021 and 1159pm (AEST) Sunday 11 April 2021

10 Not every Application that meets the Eligibility Criteria may be awarded a Grant Decisions as to which Nominated Organisations will receive a Grant and the amount of any such Grant is at the sole discretion of Australia Post and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the decision process or the outcome

11 By providing information in a Nomination Form the Nominator consents to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program This includes the sharing of information contained in the Nomination Form and any subsequent correspondence with Nominated Organisations for the purposes of administering the Program

12 By providing information in an Application Nominated Organisations consent to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding the Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program

13 Australia Post may consult with third parties for the purpose of reviewing Nominations and Applications and conducting due diligence

14 Australia Post reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of Nominations andor Applications and to disqualify any Nomination or Application that is not in accordance with the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions

15 The Grant must be used and applied solely for the purpose of the Project within 12 months of receipt of the Grant

16 Recipients will be required to complete an Acquittal in the form advised by Australia Post detailing how the Grant was applied to the Project

17 Grant funds will be deposited only into a bank account held by the Recipient Recipients should seek their own advice as to whether they have a GST liability arising in connection with the Grant Any Grant includes any GST if applicable

18 Without limitation to clause 19 below if at any time the Project can no longer be undertaken in the manner described in the Application the Recipient must promptly advise Australia Post to discuss alternative options

19 In the event a of payment in error overpayment andor

misuse of a Grant (in full or in part) b the Recipientrsquos failure to comply with the

Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions or

c the Project cannot be completed in the manner described in the Application

the Recipient must if requested in writing by Australia Post promptly repay the Grant to Australia Post in part or in full as per Australia Postrsquos direction

20 The Recipient may acknowledge the Program and Australia Postrsquos support of the Project in promotional and similar material however is not permitted to use the Australia Post logo or branding unless separate written permission has been obtained Any proposed media releases regarding the Program must be submitted to Australia Post for review which will require a minimum of 10 business days

21 The Recipient must not do or say anything or cause anyone to do or say anything that may prejudice or be detrimental to or cause damage to the name and reputation of Australia Post

22 In addition to materials required to be provided as part of the Acquittal Australia Post may request the Recipient to provide photos andor quotes in relation to the Program or the Project In relation to any such materials the Recipient provides to Australia Post the Recipient a warrants that the provision to and use by

Australia Post will not breach the intellectual property or other rights of any third party

b must obtain and provide a ldquoTalent Releaserdquo or similar document in the form required by Australia Post from time to time signed by any persons appearing in such photos and

c provides an unlimited irrevocable royalty-free worldwide licence to Australia Post to use the materials for any internal and external marketing and promotional purposes

23 Australia Post may promote the Program and report on the Project using information in the Application additional information and media (including photos and quotes) obtained from the Recipient or otherwise available publicly to its partners customers employees Australia Post representatives and networks and the community through internal and external communication channels including but not limited to online social media and in Australia Post outlets

24 Australia Post is not liable for any additional costs incurred by the Recipient or any other party associated with the Application the Project and or the receipt of a Grant In the event the total Project costs exceed the forecast amount and or the notified Grant amount Australia Post is not responsible or obliged to pay any additional amount

25 While Australia Post has taken care in producing the Guidelines Australia Post makes no representations in respect of (and to the extent permitted by law excludes all warranties in relation to) the accuracy or completeness of the information contained therein Australia Post excludes all liability whatsoever for any loss or damage howsoever arising out of reliance in whole or in part on the information

26 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits excludes or modifies or purports to limit exclude or modify any applicable statutory consumer guarantees (including those provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded Australia Post (and its respective officers employees and agents) exclude all liability (including for negligence) for any personal injury loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct indirect special or consequential resulting from or arising in any way out of the Program

27 The Recipient agrees to indemnify (and keep indemnified) Australia Post (including its officers employees and agents) against any loss or liability incurred by Australia Post (including any loss or damage to their property or loss or expense incurred by them in dealing with any claim against them) arising from any acts or omissions done by the Recipient or its employees or agents in connection with the Program

28 The Recipient must obtain and maintain adequate insurance (including public liability insurance) for all activities it carries out in relation to the Project including against any claims for loss or damage to property and injury or death to person

29 Australia Post reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Program at any time without notice These Terms and Conditions andor the Guidelines may be amended or withdrawn at the discretion of Australia Post and are available upon request by contacting Australia Post at grantsauspostcomau or calling 1300 765 772

30 Australia Post collects personal information in order to facilitate the Program Personal information provided by Nominators andor Nominated Organisations may be disclosed to a range of organisations and external industry experts to assist in assessing Applications and Nominations Without this information Australia Post would be unable to conduct the Program Personal information is handled in accordance with the Australia Post Group Privacy Statement which outlines how to access andor correct personal information or to make a privacy related complaint For more information please visit wwwauspostcomauprivacy

Eligibility Nominator eligibility All Australia Post Group workforce members (staff and contractors including StarTrack Decipha SecurePay POLi LPO Licensees and their employees contractors and community postal agents) are eligible to nominate a projectorganisation A maximum of one nomination per workforce member will be eligible for consideration and a maximum of one grant per nominated organisation may be awarded

Organisation eligibility To be eligible to apply nominated organisations must meet all of the following criteria

1 Be a not-for-profit organisation 2 Have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) with a not-for-profit status 3 Be located in and provide services within Australia and 4 Have a bank account in its name

Individuals sole traders and educational institutions are not eligible to apply We do not accept auspice arrangements Government entities are not eligible to apply unless they are managed by community representatives for community use and benefit (such as Country Fire Authority branches local hall management committees etc) If you believe your organisation may fall within this category please contact the grants team on 1300 765 772 or grantsauspostcomau before applying These government entities may have an alternative ABN status

Project eligibility

We are seeking projects that deliver community benefit Eligible organisations can apply for funding for eligible projects such as

bull Equipment supplies bull Community events bull Website development or materials including bull Training bull Newsletters and bulletins electronic equipment (eg First Aid English as a bull And more (eg computers tablets) second language food safety)

bull Workshops

Projects must begin no earlier than 1 June 2021 and complete no later than 30 June 2022 We are looking for grant applicants across metro regional and remote areas of Australia

There are a few areas that arenrsquot eligible for funding bull Individuals bull General operating costs such as rent power

salaries or insurance bull General donations with no specific benefit bull Organisations or activities that support gambling bull Fundraising including fundraiser events

political or religious associations or events bull Travel expenses bull High-risk events or activities bull Postage and delivery courier services bull Activities that damage or harm the environment bull Projects where the primary activity involves alcohol bull Expenses that have already been incurred or that drug or tobacco use

have the following meanings ldquoApplicationrdquo means the online form that a Nominated Organisation must complete and submit following a Nomination in order to be considered for a Grant ldquoAustralia Postrdquo means the Australian Postal Corporation (ABN 28 864 970 579) ldquoEligibility Criteriardquo means any eligibility criteria for organisations andor a Project set out in the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions ldquoGrantrdquo means any funds awarded to a successful Nominated Organisation under the Program ldquoGuidelinesrdquo means the document titled ldquoPeople of Post Grants Guidelines 2021rdquo (available at ourpostcomau) that sets out details of the Program including Eligibility Criteria and the application consideration and awarding process to which these Terms and Conditions are attached ldquoNominationrdquo means the nomination of an organisation by a Workforce Member for consideration as a potential Recipient ldquoNomination Formrdquo means the form a Nominator must complete and submit in order for their Nominated Organisation to be considered as a potential Recipient ldquoNominatorrdquo means a Workforce Member who submits a Nomination ldquoNominated Organisationrdquo means an organisation that has been nominated by a Workforce Member as a potential Recipient ldquoProgramrdquo means the 2021 People of Post Grant Program ldquoProjectrdquo means a project purchase or activity in relation to which a Nominated Organisation submits an Application ldquoRecipientrdquo means a Nominated Organisation which is successful in being awarded a Grant and ldquoWorkforce Memberrdquo means an Australia Post Group staff member or contractor including StarTrack Decipha SecurePay and POLi staff members and contractors Licensed Post Office licensees and their employees contractors and community postal agents

2 Applications will be considered only from Australian not-for-profit organisations which meet the Eligibility Criteria and in compliance with the Guidelines and these Terms and Conditions

3 To be eligible to participate in the Program an organisation must be nominated by a Workforce Member who provides the required information about the Nominated Organisation and accurately completes the Nomination Form Upon receipt of a Nomination Australia Post will contact the Nominated Organisation and invite it to complete an Application

4 A maximum of one (1) Nomination per Workforce Member will be eligible for consideration and a maximum of one (1) Grant per Nominated Organisation may be awarded

5 Workforce Members may nominate an organisation by completing a Nomination Form between 900am (AEDT) Monday 8 February 2021 and 1159pm (AEDT) Sunday 7 March 2021

6 Upon receipt of a valid Nomination Australia Post will verify and review the information contained in the Nomination Form and if the Nominated Organisation meets the Eligibility Criteria contact the Nominated Organisation to invite it to complete an Application

7 If a Nominator submits multiple Nominations Australia Post may a ask the Nominator to select one (1) of those

Nominations only for Australia Post to consider or

b at its sole discretion select which of that Nominatorrsquos Nominations to consider

and any additional Nominations by that Nominator will be disregarded by Australia Post

8 In the event more than one (1) Nomination for a particular Nominated Organisation is received Australia Post will consider only the first earliest received Nomination For the purposes of this clause 8 any additional Nominations disregarded by Australia Post under clause 7 above will not be taken into account

9 To be eligible for consideration for a Grant a Nominated Organisation must submit its Application in accordance with the submission instructions including providing details of the Project and all other requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions and the Guidelines between 900am (AEDT) Monday 15 March 2021 and 1159pm (AEST) Sunday 11 April 2021

10 Not every Application that meets the Eligibility Criteria may be awarded a Grant Decisions as to which Nominated Organisations will receive a Grant and the amount of any such Grant is at the sole discretion of Australia Post and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the decision process or the outcome

11 By providing information in a Nomination Form the Nominator consents to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program This includes the sharing of information contained in the Nomination Form and any subsequent correspondence with Nominated Organisations for the purposes of administering the Program

12 By providing information in an Application Nominated Organisations consent to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding the Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program

13 Australia Post may consult with third parties for the purpose of reviewing Nominations and Applications and conducting due diligence

14 Australia Post reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of Nominations andor Applications and to disqualify any Nomination or Application that is not in accordance with the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions

15 The Grant must be used and applied solely for the purpose of the Project within 12 months of receipt of the Grant

16 Recipients will be required to complete an Acquittal in the form advised by Australia Post detailing how the Grant was applied to the Project

17 Grant funds will be deposited only into a bank account held by the Recipient Recipients should seek their own advice as to whether they have a GST liability arising in connection with the Grant Any Grant includes any GST if applicable

18 Without limitation to clause 19 below if at any time the Project can no longer be undertaken in the manner described in the Application the Recipient must promptly advise Australia Post to discuss alternative options

19 In the event a of payment in error overpayment andor

misuse of a Grant (in full or in part) b the Recipientrsquos failure to comply with the

Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions or

c the Project cannot be completed in the manner described in the Application

the Recipient must if requested in writing by Australia Post promptly repay the Grant to Australia Post in part or in full as per Australia Postrsquos direction

20 The Recipient may acknowledge the Program and Australia Postrsquos support of the Project in promotional and similar material however is not permitted to use the Australia Post logo or branding unless separate written permission has been obtained Any proposed media releases regarding the Program must be submitted to Australia Post for review which will require a minimum of 10 business days

21 The Recipient must not do or say anything or cause anyone to do or say anything that may prejudice or be detrimental to or cause damage to the name and reputation of Australia Post

22 In addition to materials required to be provided as part of the Acquittal Australia Post may request the Recipient to provide photos andor quotes in relation to the Program or the Project In relation to any such materials the Recipient provides to Australia Post the Recipient a warrants that the provision to and use by

Australia Post will not breach the intellectual property or other rights of any third party

b must obtain and provide a ldquoTalent Releaserdquo or similar document in the form required by Australia Post from time to time signed by any persons appearing in such photos and

c provides an unlimited irrevocable royalty-free worldwide licence to Australia Post to use the materials for any internal and external marketing and promotional purposes

23 Australia Post may promote the Program and report on the Project using information in the Application additional information and media (including photos and quotes) obtained from the Recipient or otherwise available publicly to its partners customers employees Australia Post representatives and networks and the community through internal and external communication channels including but not limited to online social media and in Australia Post outlets

24 Australia Post is not liable for any additional costs incurred by the Recipient or any other party associated with the Application the Project and or the receipt of a Grant In the event the total Project costs exceed the forecast amount and or the notified Grant amount Australia Post is not responsible or obliged to pay any additional amount

25 While Australia Post has taken care in producing the Guidelines Australia Post makes no representations in respect of (and to the extent permitted by law excludes all warranties in relation to) the accuracy or completeness of the information contained therein Australia Post excludes all liability whatsoever for any loss or damage howsoever arising out of reliance in whole or in part on the information

26 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits excludes or modifies or purports to limit exclude or modify any applicable statutory consumer guarantees (including those provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded Australia Post (and its respective officers employees and agents) exclude all liability (including for negligence) for any personal injury loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct indirect special or consequential resulting from or arising in any way out of the Program

27 The Recipient agrees to indemnify (and keep indemnified) Australia Post (including its officers employees and agents) against any loss or liability incurred by Australia Post (including any loss or damage to their property or loss or expense incurred by them in dealing with any claim against them) arising from any acts or omissions done by the Recipient or its employees or agents in connection with the Program

28 The Recipient must obtain and maintain adequate insurance (including public liability insurance) for all activities it carries out in relation to the Project including against any claims for loss or damage to property and injury or death to person

29 Australia Post reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Program at any time without notice These Terms and Conditions andor the Guidelines may be amended or withdrawn at the discretion of Australia Post and are available upon request by contacting Australia Post at grantsauspostcomau or calling 1300 765 772

Successful applications Payment Payment will be made into grant recipientsrsquo nominated bank account

Acquittal Grant recipients will need to complete an acquittal within one month of the project ending providing details about how the grant funds were spent on the project

Media photos promotions In addition to the acquittal requirements we may ask grant recipients to share with us photos showing the impact the grant has had on the local community - people connecting volunteers getting involved and the wider community being supported We may also ask nominators andor grant recipients to take part in media activities (such as photo opportunities media calls) or provide a quote for inclusion in a media release so we can share some of these stories with our employees customers partners and networks Please note In submitting their nomination or application nominators and applicants consent to Australia Post using the information disclosed (other than personal information) and other publicly available information when promoting the People of Post Grants

Successful applications Payment Payment will be made into grant recipientsrsquo nominated bank account

Acquittal Grant recipients will need to complete an acquittal within one month of the project ending providing details about how the grant funds were spent on the project

Media photos promotions In addition to the acquittal requirements we may ask grant recipients to share with us photos showing the impact the grant has had on the local community - people connecting volunteers getting involved and the wider community being supported We may also ask nominators andor grant recipients to take part in media activities (such as photo opportunities media calls) or provide a quote for inclusion in a media release so we can share some of these stories with our employees customers partners and networks Please note In submitting their nomination or application nominators and applicants consent to Australia Post using the information disclosed (other than personal information) and other publicly available information when promoting the People of Post Grants

Terms and conditions The following terms and conditions apply to the 2021 People of Post Grant Program 1 Capitalised terms in these Terms and Conditions

have the following meanings ldquoApplicationrdquo means the online form that a Nominated Organisation must complete and submit following a Nomination in order to be considered for a Grant ldquoAustralia Postrdquo means the Australian Postal Corporation (ABN 28 864 970 579) ldquoEligibility Criteriardquo means any eligibility criteria for organisations andor a Project set out in the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions ldquoGrantrdquo means any funds awarded to a successful Nominated Organisation under the Program ldquoGuidelinesrdquo means the document titled ldquoPeople of Post Grants Guidelines 2021rdquo (available at ourpostcomau) that sets out details of the Program including Eligibility Criteria and the application consideration and awarding process to which these Terms and Conditions are attached ldquoNominationrdquo means the nomination of an organisation by a Workforce Member for consideration as a potential Recipient ldquoNomination Formrdquo means the form a Nominator must complete and submit in order for their Nominated Organisation to be considered as a potential Recipient ldquoNominatorrdquo means a Workforce Member who submits a Nomination ldquoNominated Organisationrdquo means an organisation that has been nominated by a Workforce Member as a potential Recipient ldquoProgramrdquo means the 2021 People of Post Grant Program ldquoProjectrdquo means a project purchase or activity in relation to which a Nominated Organisation submits an Application ldquoRecipientrdquo means a Nominated Organisation which is successful in being awarded a Grant and ldquoWorkforce Memberrdquo means an Australia Post Group staff member or contractor including StarTrack Decipha SecurePay and POLi staff members and contractors Licensed Post Office licensees and their employees contractors and community postal agents

2 Applications will be considered only from Australian not-for-profit organisations which meet the Eligibility Criteria and in compliance with the Guidelines and these Terms and Conditions

3 To be eligible to participate in the Program an organisation must be nominated by a Workforce Member who provides the required information about the Nominated Organisation and accurately completes the Nomination Form Upon receipt of a Nomination Australia Post will contact the Nominated Organisation and invite it to complete an Application

4 A maximum of one (1) Nomination per Workforce Member will be eligible for consideration and a maximum of one (1) Grant per Nominated Organisation may be awarded

5 Workforce Members may nominate an organisation by completing a Nomination Form between 900am (AEDT) Monday 8 February 2021 and 1159pm (AEDT) Sunday 7 March 2021

6 Upon receipt of a valid Nomination Australia Post will verify and review the information contained in the Nomination Form and if the Nominated Organisation meets the Eligibility Criteria contact the Nominated Organisation to invite it to complete an Application

7 If a Nominator submits multiple Nominations Australia Post may a ask the Nominator to select one (1) of those

Nominations only for Australia Post to consider or

b at its sole discretion select which of that Nominatorrsquos Nominations to consider

and any additional Nominations by that Nominator will be disregarded by Australia Post

8 In the event more than one (1) Nomination for a particular Nominated Organisation is received Australia Post will consider only the first earliest received Nomination For the purposes of this clause 8 any additional Nominations disregarded by Australia Post under clause 7 above will not be taken into account

9 To be eligible for consideration for a Grant a Nominated Organisation must submit its Application in accordance with the submission instructions including providing details of the Project and all other requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions and the Guidelines between 900am (AEDT) Monday 15 March 2021 and 1159pm (AEST) Sunday 11 April 2021

10 Not every Application that meets the Eligibility Criteria may be awarded a Grant Decisions as to which Nominated Organisations will receive a Grant and the amount of any such Grant is at the sole discretion of Australia Post and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the decision process or the outcome

11 By providing information in a Nomination Form the Nominator consents to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program This includes the sharing of information contained in the Nomination Form and any subsequent correspondence with Nominated Organisations for the purposes of administering the Program

12 By providing information in an Application Nominated Organisations consent to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding the Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program

13 Australia Post may consult with third parties for the purpose of reviewing Nominations and Applications and conducting due diligence

14 Australia Post reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of Nominations andor Applications and to disqualify any Nomination or Application that is not in accordance with the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions

15 The Grant must be used and applied solely for the purpose of the Project within 12 months of receipt of the Grant

16 Recipients will be required to complete an Acquittal in the form advised by Australia Post detailing how the Grant was applied to the Project

17 Grant funds will be deposited only into a bank account held by the Recipient Recipients should seek their own advice as to whether they have a GST liability arising in connection with the Grant Any Grant includes any GST if applicable

18 Without limitation to clause 19 below if at any time the Project can no longer be undertaken in the manner described in the Application the Recipient must promptly advise Australia Post to discuss alternative options

19 In the event a of payment in error overpayment andor

misuse of a Grant (in full or in part) b the Recipientrsquos failure to comply with the

Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions or

c the Project cannot be completed in the manner described in the Application

the Recipient must if requested in writing by Australia Post promptly repay the Grant to Australia Post in part or in full as per Australia Postrsquos direction

20 The Recipient may acknowledge the Program and Australia Postrsquos support of the Project in promotional and similar material however is not permitted to use the Australia Post logo or branding unless separate written permission has been obtained Any proposed media releases regarding the Program must be submitted to Australia Post for review which will require a minimum of 10 business days

21 The Recipient must not do or say anything or cause anyone to do or say anything that may prejudice or be detrimental to or cause damage to the name and reputation of Australia Post

22 In addition to materials required to be provided as part of the Acquittal Australia Post may request the Recipient to provide photos andor quotes in relation to the Program or the Project In relation to any such materials the Recipient provides to Australia Post the Recipient a warrants that the provision to and use by

Australia Post will not breach the intellectual property or other rights of any third party

b must obtain and provide a ldquoTalent Releaserdquo or similar document in the form required by Australia Post from time to time signed by any persons appearing in such photos and

c provides an unlimited irrevocable royalty-free worldwide licence to Australia Post to use the materials for any internal and external marketing and promotional purposes

23 Australia Post may promote the Program and report on the Project using information in the Application additional information and media (including photos and quotes) obtained from the Recipient or otherwise available publicly to its partners customers employees Australia Post representatives and networks and the community through internal and external communication channels including but not limited to online social media and in Australia Post outlets

24 Australia Post is not liable for any additional costs incurred by the Recipient or any other party associated with the Application the Project and or the receipt of a Grant In the event the total Project costs exceed the forecast amount and or the notified Grant amount Australia Post is not responsible or obliged to pay any additional amount

25 While Australia Post has taken care in producing the Guidelines Australia Post makes no representations in respect of (and to the extent permitted by law excludes all warranties in relation to) the accuracy or completeness of the information contained therein Australia Post excludes all liability whatsoever for any loss or damage howsoever arising out of reliance in whole or in part on the information

26 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits excludes or modifies or purports to limit exclude or modify any applicable statutory consumer guarantees (including those provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded Australia Post (and its respective officers employees and agents) exclude all liability (including for negligence) for any personal injury loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct indirect special or consequential resulting from or arising in any way out of the Program

27 The Recipient agrees to indemnify (and keep indemnified) Australia Post (including its officers employees and agents) against any loss or liability incurred by Australia Post (including any loss or damage to their property or loss or expense incurred by them in dealing with any claim against them) arising from any acts or omissions done by the Recipient or its employees or agents in connection with the Program

28 The Recipient must obtain and maintain adequate insurance (including public liability insurance) for all activities it carries out in relation to the Project including against any claims for loss or damage to property and injury or death to person

29 Australia Post reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Program at any time without notice These Terms and Conditions andor the Guidelines may be amended or withdrawn at the discretion of Australia Post and are available upon request by contacting Australia Post at grantsauspostcomau or calling 1300 765 772

30 Australia Post collects personal information in order to facilitate the Program Personal information provided by Nominators andor Nominated Organisations may be disclosed to a range of organisations and external industry experts to assist in assessing Applications and Nominations Without this information Australia Post would be unable to conduct the Program Personal information is handled in accordance with the Australia Post Group Privacy Statement which outlines how to access andor correct personal information or to make a privacy related complaint For more information please visit wwwauspostcomauprivacy

have the following meanings ldquoApplicationrdquo means the online form that a Nominated Organisation must complete and submit following a Nomination in order to be considered for a Grant ldquoAustralia Postrdquo means the Australian Postal Corporation (ABN 28 864 970 579) ldquoEligibility Criteriardquo means any eligibility criteria for organisations andor a Project set out in the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions ldquoGrantrdquo means any funds awarded to a successful Nominated Organisation under the Program ldquoGuidelinesrdquo means the document titled ldquoPeople of Post Grants Guidelines 2021rdquo (available at ourpostcomau) that sets out details of the Program including Eligibility Criteria and the application consideration and awarding process to which these Terms and Conditions are attached ldquoNominationrdquo means the nomination of an organisation by a Workforce Member for consideration as a potential Recipient ldquoNomination Formrdquo means the form a Nominator must complete and submit in order for their Nominated Organisation to be considered as a potential Recipient ldquoNominatorrdquo means a Workforce Member who submits a Nomination ldquoNominated Organisationrdquo means an organisation that has been nominated by a Workforce Member as a potential Recipient ldquoProgramrdquo means the 2021 People of Post Grant Program ldquoProjectrdquo means a project purchase or activity in relation to which a Nominated Organisation submits an Application ldquoRecipientrdquo means a Nominated Organisation which is successful in being awarded a Grant and ldquoWorkforce Memberrdquo means an Australia Post Group staff member or contractor including StarTrack Decipha SecurePay and POLi staff members and contractors Licensed Post Office licensees and their employees contractors and community postal agents

2 Applications will be considered only from Australian not-for-profit organisations which meet the Eligibility Criteria and in compliance with the Guidelines and these Terms and Conditions

3 To be eligible to participate in the Program an organisation must be nominated by a Workforce Member who provides the required information about the Nominated Organisation and accurately completes the Nomination Form Upon receipt of a Nomination Australia Post will contact the Nominated Organisation and invite it to complete an Application

4 A maximum of one (1) Nomination per Workforce Member will be eligible for consideration and a maximum of one (1) Grant per Nominated Organisation may be awarded

5 Workforce Members may nominate an organisation by completing a Nomination Form between 900am (AEDT) Monday 8 February 2021 and 1159pm (AEDT) Sunday 7 March 2021

6 Upon receipt of a valid Nomination Australia Post will verify and review the information contained in the Nomination Form and if the Nominated Organisation meets the Eligibility Criteria contact the Nominated Organisation to invite it to complete an Application

7 If a Nominator submits multiple Nominations Australia Post may a ask the Nominator to select one (1) of those

Nominations only for Australia Post to consider or

b at its sole discretion select which of that Nominatorrsquos Nominations to consider

and any additional Nominations by that Nominator will be disregarded by Australia Post

8 In the event more than one (1) Nomination for a particular Nominated Organisation is received Australia Post will consider only the first earliest received Nomination For the purposes of this clause 8 any additional Nominations disregarded by Australia Post under clause 7 above will not be taken into account

9 To be eligible for consideration for a Grant a Nominated Organisation must submit its Application in accordance with the submission instructions including providing details of the Project and all other requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions and the Guidelines between 900am (AEDT) Monday 15 March 2021 and 1159pm (AEST) Sunday 11 April 2021

10 Not every Application that meets the Eligibility Criteria may be awarded a Grant Decisions as to which Nominated Organisations will receive a Grant and the amount of any such Grant is at the sole discretion of Australia Post and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the decision process or the outcome

11 By providing information in a Nomination Form the Nominator consents to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program This includes the sharing of information contained in the Nomination Form and any subsequent correspondence with Nominated Organisations for the purposes of administering the Program

12 By providing information in an Application Nominated Organisations consent to Australia Post using and disclosing that information for the purposes of conducting the Program reviewing processing and awarding the Grants and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Program

13 Australia Post may consult with third parties for the purpose of reviewing Nominations and Applications and conducting due diligence

14 Australia Post reserves the right at any time to verify the validity of Nominations andor Applications and to disqualify any Nomination or Application that is not in accordance with the Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions

15 The Grant must be used and applied solely for the purpose of the Project within 12 months of receipt of the Grant

16 Recipients will be required to complete an Acquittal in the form advised by Australia Post detailing how the Grant was applied to the Project

17 Grant funds will be deposited only into a bank account held by the Recipient Recipients should seek their own advice as to whether they have a GST liability arising in connection with the Grant Any Grant includes any GST if applicable

18 Without limitation to clause 19 below if at any time the Project can no longer be undertaken in the manner described in the Application the Recipient must promptly advise Australia Post to discuss alternative options

19 In the event a of payment in error overpayment andor

misuse of a Grant (in full or in part) b the Recipientrsquos failure to comply with the

Guidelines andor these Terms and Conditions or

c the Project cannot be completed in the manner described in the Application

the Recipient must if requested in writing by Australia Post promptly repay the Grant to Australia Post in part or in full as per Australia Postrsquos direction

20 The Recipient may acknowledge the Program and Australia Postrsquos support of the Project in promotional and similar material however is not permitted to use the Australia Post logo or branding unless separate written permission has been obtained Any proposed media releases regarding the Program must be submitted to Australia Post for review which will require a minimum of 10 business days

21 The Recipient must not do or say anything or cause anyone to do or say anything that may prejudice or be detrimental to or cause damage to the name and reputation of Australia Post

22 In addition to materials required to be provided as part of the Acquittal Australia Post may request the Recipient to provide photos andor quotes in relation to the Program or the Project In relation to any such materials the Recipient provides to Australia Post the Recipient a warrants that the provision to and use by

Australia Post will not breach the intellectual property or other rights of any third party

b must obtain and provide a ldquoTalent Releaserdquo or similar document in the form required by Australia Post from time to time signed by any persons appearing in such photos and

c provides an unlimited irrevocable royalty-free worldwide licence to Australia Post to use the materials for any internal and external marketing and promotional purposes

23 Australia Post may promote the Program and report on the Project using information in the Application additional information and media (including photos and quotes) obtained from the Recipient or otherwise available publicly to its partners customers employees Australia Post representatives and networks and the community through internal and external communication channels including but not limited to online social media and in Australia Post outlets

24 Australia Post is not liable for any additional costs incurred by the Recipient or any other party associated with the Application the Project and or the receipt of a Grant In the event the total Project costs exceed the forecast amount and or the notified Grant amount Australia Post is not responsible or obliged to pay any additional amount

25 While Australia Post has taken care in producing the Guidelines Australia Post makes no representations in respect of (and to the extent permitted by law excludes all warranties in relation to) the accuracy or completeness of the information contained therein Australia Post excludes all liability whatsoever for any loss or damage howsoever arising out of reliance in whole or in part on the information

26 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits excludes or modifies or purports to limit exclude or modify any applicable statutory consumer guarantees (including those provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded Australia Post (and its respective officers employees and agents) exclude all liability (including for negligence) for any personal injury loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct indirect special or consequential resulting from or arising in any way out of the Program

27 The Recipient agrees to indemnify (and keep indemnified) Australia Post (including its officers employees and agents) against any loss or liability incurred by Australia Post (including any loss or damage to their property or loss or expense incurred by them in dealing with any claim against them) arising from any acts or omissions done by the Recipient or its employees or agents in connection with the Program

28 The Recipient must obtain and maintain adequate insurance (including public liability insurance) for all activities it carries out in relation to the Project including against any claims for loss or damage to property and injury or death to person

29 Australia Post reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Program at any time without notice These Terms and Conditions andor the Guidelines may be amended or withdrawn at the discretion of Australia Post and are available upon request by contacting Australia Post at grantsauspostcomau or calling 1300 765 772

30 Australia Post collects personal information in order to facilitate the Program Personal information provided by Nominators andor Nominated Organisations may be disclosed to a range of organisations and external industry experts to assist in assessing Applications and Nominations Without this information Australia Post would be unable to conduct the Program Personal information is handled in accordance with the Australia Post Group Privacy Statement which outlines how to access andor correct personal information or to make a privacy related complaint For more information please visit wwwauspostcomauprivacy

Terms and conditions The following terms and conditions apply to the 2021 People of Post Grant Program 1 Capitalised terms in these Terms and Conditions
