THE PENSHURST RSL PANTHERS
JUNIOR AFL CLUB Registrations have been strong
again with all players now
commencing training in anticipation
of the first round which this year is
on Sunday 19 April. All coaching and
managing positions are now filled
with a great team of volunteers on
board for the season. Also pleasing
has been the ability obtain 4
experienced St. George Dragons AFL
senior players to coach the under
15s and under 17s this year. The
boys really appreciate the effort
they put in and have hit the ground
running in their preparations. The
club has a strong and growing
relationship with St. George and this
further strengthens that
relationship.
Facilities are continuing to be
upgraded with terracing in front of
the clubhouse to be completed
soon and improved lighting of the
Olds Park main oval slated for
completion before the end of
season.
The number of new Auskickers has
been huge this year and they are
having a great time learning skills
and making new friendships. On the
evening of Thursday 26th March
they had the chance to meet a few
swans players at Olds Park and
enjoy a BBQ to further welcome
them to the club.
We still have room for new players
across most age groups so if you
know someone interested in a great
game please refer them across. The
website has all the contact details.
As always thanks for your support
and see you round the grounds!
