How do I get another title or my vehicle?  To get a duplicate vehicle title, you ne ed to fll out orm MV-38 O, Application or Duplicate Certifc ate o Title by Owner. All requests must be notarized.  The ee is $22.50. I you are applying or a duplicate vehicle title and a lien is recorded against the vehicle, the bottom portion o the MV-38 O must be completed by the lien holder, which shows the lien has been satisfed. I you lose your vehicle registration card, you must

fll out orm MV-44, which will enable you to get a

duplicate vehicle registration card. I you are replacing

only the vehicle registration card, the ee is $4.50. I you

are replacing the vehicle registration renewal sticker,

the ee is $7.50. The orm does not need to be notarized

or a lost card or sticker. I your original was lost in the

mail, you are entitled to a ree issuance within 90 days.

In this case, the orm will need to be notarized.

I sent or my driver’s license or vehicle

registration weeks ago and never received it, but

PennDOT cashed my check. What should I do?

PennDOT will cash your check or money order the day

your application arrives or processing. In many cases,

an individual will receive the canceled check beore

the driver’s license or vehicle registration. Currently,

it is taking fve to 15 working days to process driver’s

license and vehicle registration renewals. I your

renewal application is taking longer than fve to 15

working days, please contact my ofce. We will be

happy to check on the status.

No. Your valid driver’s license must be in your

possession at all times while you are driving. To avoid

an interruption in your driving privileges, you should

send or your renewal as soon as possible.

I misplaced my driver’s license, or it was stolen.

How do I get a replacement?

I sent PennDOT my application to renew my

driver’s license, and my license expired beore I

received the renewal. Is it legal or me to drive?

How do I obtain a non-driver photo ID?

You may obtain a non-driver photo ID application

rom the Driver License Center. My ofce has a list o 

the locations and hours o the nearest Driver License

Center and will be happy to provide you with this

inormation.

I lost my vehicle registration card. How do I get

another one?

 The MV-1 or MV-4ST pink slip is your temporary

vehicle registration orm given to you by your dealeror notary agent at the time you purchased your

vehicle. This pink slip is good or 90 days. PennDOT

does not normally issue an extension or vehicle

registration cards or renewal stickers. In the event that

you do not receive the new registration within this

period, you should immediately contact the dealer

or agent who issued the temporary registration so

he or she can work with PennDOT to ensure that you

maintain a valid registration.

I recently purchased a vehicle and have not

received my vehicle registration card or vehicle

registration renewal sticker. My MV-1 or

MV-4ST pink slip is about to expire. How can I

legally drive this vehicle?

I am disabled. How do I obtain a special parking

permit?

Anyone parking in a handicap parking space must

have either a person with disability parking placard

or a person with disability parking plate. You may

obtain a person with disability parking placard by

completing orm MV-145-A. There is no ee. You

may obtain a person with disability parking plate by

completing orm MV-145. The ee is $7.50.

Usually when this happens, it is be cause you moved

and neglected to inorm PennDOT o your new

address. You have 15 days to notiy PennDOT when

you move. I you have not received a renewal orm, my

ofce has the necessary orms and will be happy to

assist you.

I never received my application to renew my

driver’s license or vehicle registration. Why?

You must fll out orm DL-80, Application or Change,

Correction, Replacement o Driver’s License. All

requests must be notarized. The ee is $13.50, or

$18.50 or a motorcycle class vehicle. I your driver’s

license is stolen, you must report the thet to the

Pennsylvania State Police.
