At this point I would like to give a brief introduction about Florey.Florey was born in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1898. He was interested in medicine and he studied that at the university of Adelaide. He was very successful. In the late 1930s he began working on the penicillin and he had his firs human trial in 1441. Floreys discoveries have saved millions of lives. At that time a small cut could kill the injured person. So that is an introduction about Floreys role in developing the penicillin. Here now is Lucas Cordeiro Diniz my group mate to talk about Floreys capability of managing the research.3FLOREY, THE MANAGERIn 1930s, Florey gathered a team of specialistsErnst ChainNorman Heatley

Thanks dear Mayara and hello everyone. Based on all the information provided, florey had a very important role in developing penicillin. It was florey who gathered a team of scientists to research about penicillin. It was Florey who carried out the first ever clinical trials. It was Florey again who raised funds for the research and it was florey who went to war to see the side effect of his developed medicine. Florey's discoveries are estimated to have saved over 82 million lives. As we all know by now he had a group to do the research. Theyve all done a great job but without Floreys knowledge and management skills and also hard work it wasnt possible to develop this magical medicine. It was good that they won the noble price but as we all know Fleming received most of the credit for the discovery of penicillin which is not fair. The credit should be divided fairly.13ReferencesWilliams, T. (1984). Howard Florey. Oxford: Oxford University Press.
