the scoring guide. • Look through your peer’s essay for elements

in that section. • Go back and review for conventions- don’t fix

them, just mark them as incorrect.

Convention note• As you score your peer’s paper, if you notice a WOD error ( incomplete list

below), circle it. • Its/it’s; there/their/they’re; where/were/wear/we’re; which/witch;

to/two/too; then/than; here/hear; knew/new; affect/effect; except/accept; your/you’re.

• Semi-colons need to have a complete sentence on each side.• Colons must be used correctly: complete sentence leading to the colon,

and additional information after. • ALL MOVIE TITLES ARE ITALICIZED!!!!!
