area of drinking water supply,

this range is supplemented by

the material PP. For solutions in

the field of chemical apparatus

and installation engineering we

offer you pipeline components

Owing to our state-of-the-art

extrusion technology, we are

able to extrude pipes up to a

diameter of 1000 mm. The pos-

sible wall thicknesses range

1 PN is valid for water at 20°C and a calculated life expectancy of 50 years.

The europeanized norms

DIN 8074/8075 (PE), DIN 8077/

8078 (PP) and DIN 8061/8062

(PVC-U) as well as the following

applications oriented DIN-EN

and ISO standards distinguish

between different safety factors

leading to different PN charges

at a given geometry, i.e. outer

diameter – wall thickness ratio

(SDR).

The following table shows these

connections. In practise, the user

can choose the security factor

according to the application.
