INDOOR AIR QUALITY MONITORS

Standards or guidelines for indoor air quality vary widely across the globe. Often they are a function of local-ly adopted building codes. Definitions of acceptable indoor air quality and the monitoring requirementsthat must be considered when evaluating indoor air quality can vary equally. In direct response, theAQ5000Pro and AQ5001Pro Indoor Air Quality Monitors have been designed to provide unmatched ver-satility, convenience and value to professionals involved in indoor air quality assessments.

Carbon dioxide levels are a surrogate indicator of ventilation system effectiveness. Excessive carbon diox-ide levels can indicate insufficient fresh air supply or occupancy levels beyond the designed capacity of theroom. Temperature and relative humidity measurements allow for the evaluation of occupant comfort, which can be a key contributor to productivity in the workplace or comprehension rates in a learning envi-ronment. Oxygen and toxic gas measurements can identify conditions immediately dangerous to life andhealth. Air velocity, sound level, VOC levels, dust levels, light intensity, etc. are all additional examples of fac-tors that can either be immediately dangerous to life and health or significantly influence the productivityand/or comprehension rates of those present.

The AQ5000Pro and AQ5001Pro IAQ Monitors each provide professionals with a single monitoring devicefor recording, reporting, charting and analyzing many hazards contributing to poor indoor air quality. Bothmonitors provide a(n): infra-red sensor measuring carbon dioxide levels; thermistor sensor measuring ambi-ent temperature; capacitive sensor measuring percent relative humidity; calculated dew point tempera-ture; gas sensor channel measuring your choice of oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogendioxide, nitric oxide, hydrogen cyanide or ammonia; and linear analog input channel measuring, in directengineering units, the analog recorder output from stand-alone instruments such as air velocity sensors, sound level meters, VOC monitors, respirable dust monitors, light meters, formaldehyde monitors and more.

Applications:● IAQ Complaint Investigation and Mitigation

● Air Exchange Rate Measurement

● HVAC System Performance Monitoring

● HVAC System Balancing

● Mold Investigation and Remediation

The AQ5000Pro provides you with a handheld mon-itor permitting fast response to IAQ complaints. Theinstrument’s "Snap-Shot" survey mode enables easycapture of data from building walk-through surveys inan initial investigation, during remediation or as a fol-low-up to corrective actions. Users can convenientlyview current measurements or measurements fromprior "snap-shots" directly from the instrument’s dis-play. All data transfers to QuestSuite Professional, thesystem solution software application for indoor airquality, noise, heat stress and gas where data analy-sis, charting, reporting and archiving of informationoccurs.
