This daylong symposium will cover clinical and research applications of three NIBS modalities in psychiatry – Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS). Apart from talks by experts in these areas, there will be video/live demonstrations and a quiz session. A poster session will also enable clinicians and researchers to share their ongoing/recent findings with the audience. The target audience will primarily be MD/PhD trainees in psychiatry, but the symposium is open to practicing psychiatrists and consultants as well. About the symposium: The Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS) team at the

2015 at NIMHANS, Bengaluru.

POSTER SESSION:

Abstracts are invited for poster presentations covering original research, reviews, meta-

analyses, case series or reports on any non-invasive brain stimulation technique used in

neuropsychiatric disorders. Abstract should be of 250 words and should include the following

headings: Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Abstracts can be submitted by

email to [email protected] by 4:00 PM on 31st August 2015. A panel of experts will

judge the posters and two best posters will be awarded.
