PPS Data Solutions History
PPS Data Solutions Limited (PDSL), operates as a joint venture company originally formed in 2003 between John Cameron (PCTS Developer) and The PPS Group. The company holds all software rights to the PCTS application.
The company was originally formed as a 50 / 50 partnership serving the Chinese Energy Industry and has since partnered in other regions with PPS Group companies.
PPS Group companies have supplied PCTS via distribution agreements where the PPS Group Companies issue the PCTS licences to respective clients since 2004.
PPS Data solutions provide all support and maintenance to the PPS group companies relating to PCTS supply and servicing..

FSL Data Division History
First Solutions Limited (FSL), operates as a joint venture company originally formed between China Offshore Oil Nanhai East Corp (subsidiary of CNOOC) and The PPS Group.
Serving the Chinese Energy Industry, the synergies between these companies brings together proven leading edge technology and expertise, with Chinese knowledge, market insight, and cost advantages.
Initially developed in the North Sea by engineers, for engineers, FSL Data Division offers Contractors, Fabricators, and Operators a range of low cost, project control and maintenance management information solutions, designed to deliver real commercial and operational benefits.

PCTS modules have previously been adopted by both ELF Exploration (Paris) and Total Fina (Paris) for use on their projects prior to their merger. The system was exclusively used on the Elf Elgin PUQ (UK 2000) and subsequent hook up, Girassol (Angola 2001), Total’s South Pars projects (Korea & Iraq 2001), Enel Power’s Jebil Ali Phase 3 (UAE 2002). 2003 - Devon Energy China Ltd, (Panyu 4-2 and Panyu 5-1), 2004 CNOOC China Ltd, and CCLS (CNOOC Shenzhen) for the HuiZhou Terminal. 2005 – Present: SPDC (Nigeria) for the Okoloma gas to power projects.
Main contractors include Barmac/Halliburton/KBR (UK) , Hyundai (Korea) TPG (Paris), Enel Projects, (Milan), Alcon (Nigeria).
Engineering companies having utilized the software to satisfy project deliverables include: MacDermotts, (Wembley and Nigg Bay), TPG Engineering (Technip) (Paris & Nigg), Bougyues Offshore (Paris and Korea), Foster Wheeler (Paris), Impac Offshore (Hamburg), Saipem (Okoloma project, Nigeria).

This is offered to clients to avoid problems encountered during inspection/commissioning activities industry wide.
It is primarily aimed at the general workforce with a complimentary equivalent for inspection and supervision teams.
The aim is to attempt to get the quality of work improved on a “doing it right first time” approach.
