MBRAM Partnership 2008

• PCRF-U.S. has re-organized the UAE Chapter to operate just as any other “best practices, “international NGO” entity.

UAE Chapter Status• PCRF-U.S. has been operating this way for years, and now PCRF – UAE is being held to the

precise same standards.  We are the same as any international grouping having a U.S. or European headquarters (for example, Doctors Without Borders, Care International, etc.).

• PCRF – UAE is focusing on becoming a properly registered branch office of the PCRF-U.S. headquarters, and we hope to receive the approval by the end of the year at the latest.

• PCRF-UAE has 2 central activities, and 1 additional off-shoot activity of far lesser importance.

• Organizes medical travel and U.A.E.-based health care treatments, in full compliance with applicable UAE federal  and Emirate-specific laws.

• Conducts targeted outreach initiatives to build awareness concerning regional children’s health care issues, including drawing attention to the emergency needs arising out of life within conflict zones - which needs routinely arise in Palestine and other countries.

• PCRF-UAE is not at its core a “fund-raising organization”.  Fund-raising activities will be strictly limited to 3rd tier importance at most, and may result simply as a by-product of the PCRF-UAE’s core activities.  Any fund-raising activities carried out will be fully transparent and in compliance with all applicable laws.
