Pilot PalBetsy Tunstall

I was born in Sparta, TN. I lived with my mother, father and brother in Donelson, TN; Spartanburg, SC; McMinnville, TN; and Nashville, TN.

I graduated from George Peabody College for Teachers and moved to Oak Ridge to teach school. I taught two years, married, and became a full time homemaker and mother. I have lived in the same house for fifty years.

My son, Brian, lives in Powell, TN, with his wife Robin. They have two daughters, twenty three year old Bethany and nineteen year old Madison, who have each established their own homes.

My daughter, Rachel Berry, lives in Bayport, MN, with her husband Jon. They have three children: Kenan, nine years old; Nora, seven years old; and Ingrid, five years old.

I worked at The Eye Center for twenty years and have been retired nine years.

I am proud to be a Pilot and have enjoyed twenty-four years of friendship and service. I look forward to many more years as a Pilot.

Week Week

&KindnessKindness

Imagined & Created By Pilot International

International Care & Kindness Week, November 4-10, 2018, is a week-long public awareness campaign meant to bring awareness to how simple acts can change a day, a life or the world by simply showing someone you care.

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, November 27, 2018, (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.
